So yeah...I entered an event (win-a-wave) and it says I need a 400 pt. army. Right now, I think I'm going to go with:
-Roman Legionnaires
-Venoc Vipers
-Venoc Warlord
-Ne-Gok-Sa
-Marro Warriors
The only sets I have are two master sets, all of Mallidon's Prophecy except for the gruts, all of Utgar's Rage, Orm's Return, Road to the Forgotten Forest, a couple Neraks, and all of Jandar's Oath except for the Scots, Commandos, Monks, and Sentinels, . And except for the master sets, I only have one of each thing.
Anyhoo, my team. Roman Legionnaires run up right away with either Ne-Gok or the Warlord (probably Ne-Gok to keep the Vipers' bonuses. The Vipers follow soon after and try to do as much damage as possible in one turn (as they usually do). Then, the Legionnaires and Ne-Gok/Warlord hammer away at the opponent (Legionnaires and Warlord attack, Ne-Gok MS then attack).
Obviously, this team lacks range, so I included Marro Warriors with the last 50 points. I think that their ability to clone should make up for the lack of other ranged support. I was thinking of getting rid of the Marro Warriors and the Venoc Vipers to get a better, 90 point ranged unit.
I have some other teams, including:
-4th Massachusetts Line
-Knights of Weston
-Sir Dendrick
-Concan the Kyrie Warrior
-Finn the Viking Champion
This team is full of supporting abilities, but not really range (go figure.)
-Su-Bak-Na
-Ne-Gok-Sa
-Marrden Hounds
-Marro Warriors
Keep Su-Bak in the back and hope for lucky rolls
-Khosumet the Darklord
-Anubian Wolves
-Krug
-Minions of Utgar
Lots of attack=lots of damage
-Raelin the Kyrie Warrior
-Charos
-Izumi Samurai
-Dumutef Guard
-Swog Rider
Just keep Charos and the Samurai in range of Raelin, and this team should be fine.
Please post feedback (constructive criticism, please) and suggestions for any of these teams. If you want me to post my strategies for the other four teams, then just ask.
