I was just at my sister's house to pick up my kids after work and saw my 10yr old nephew and his friend playing HS on the dining room table. I had to check it out of course. My nephew bragged about how the Micro Corps Agents had a range of 15!!!! because they were each standing on Range +4 Glyphs and had height to boot!

I guess it's fun for kids to play with so many glyphs and multiples as well, but for me, it cheapens the game. Like playing five card draw poker with five wild cards.

I'm for glyphs and all, but in moderation and for strategic purposes and maybe even having be dangerous to attain. Just my two cents, but I guess 10yr olds have a different idea of fun than an old fart like me.

Well I think glyphs are fun in all, but if you play with to many of them then it just get unfair and annoying.

Yea when I play with my friends we useally each get a set of "Range +4, Attack +1, and Defense +1" sorry I don't know the names. SO anyways we shuffle the glyphs and place them close to the others starting points. That way if we are going to get bonuses might as well be far and not see ^^

lol yah we never use glyphs anymore but I DO notice that my 14 yr old cousin loves them a whole lot more then me. Plus it DOES make it easier for rookies to win! (which MAY be why they like it so much....)

Side note:

For added fun, play a random glyph game. Put 2 sets of glyphs into a pile. Randomly draw out glyphs and put them on the board. Everytime a glyph is empty and face up at the end of a turn, remove it from the board and replace it with a random glyph from the pile. However.. Every massive curse is an instant death for the person who stands on it! So the question is if you get the iniative glyph, do you move off of it so you can get a new one and risk the instant death, or do you keep it??
