I finally finshed the last wave 5 pack at my wal mart.know maybee they will get wave 6 and 7 in.there isn't any more wave 5 packs there.ya!!!!!!!!!!!

lol if that has any thing to do to see if they had any in storge.i checked and they dont have any at all.they have no waves or large exspansions and they said they wern't getting any more of the old waves

Not getting anymore of the old waves? Man this sucks for us newcomers to the game. I think we are going to have a hard time getting a collection of all the waves. Here is my collection so far.

Master Set: RotV x 1
Master Set: SotM x 1
Wave 6: Zombie horde x 2
uhhh....that's it.

Man....I'll never get em all :shock:

well that was just my wal mart.i live in a little town.so in bigger towns they will probly have the other waves.also you cant get any wave at walmart online which stinks.

It's a known fact that most stockers don't know anything. So I wouldn't bet on not seeing more old product show up every so often. Considering the game's designed to never have anything go completely out of print.

Well all we have at my wal mart is the following

8 swarm of the marro sets $40
3 Rise of the valkyrie sets $40
and 5-10 marvel master sets $ 27

we dont have any large exspansions or any waves.
so thats why i said what i figered and by what they told me.
also they haven't had the large exspansions for about a year or 2 and they had 3 complete wave 6 sets last year and sold in a week and never got restocked.

I agree with Beasty... the stockers don't know what they're going to get in the future and probably just told you they wouldn't get older waves in because they don't know the game... they would expect older stuff to not be produced again.

As for the large expansions - yeah, haven't seen any large expansions or castles in a WalMart in a raccoon's age. Target and Toys R Us seem to be the only places that carry the larger packs anymore.

That could be your WM's perrogative to only sell the base sets. I don't know how WM works its distribution system. It's common sense that they don't put the same inventory in every store. If you want an example, try comparing the number of lawnmowers sold in Nevada to the number in Florida. :wink: So it could fall to it simply being a decision some manager or district manager made.

Retail businesses work a lot differently then most figure, especially the larger chain stores. They go by shelf space. Simply put, they are concerned with putting the largest number of the most profitable items on the shelf as possible. Perhaps the HS expansions and boosters got kicked out to make room for Transformers Chess or Spidermanopoly. Perhaps Hasbro provided an age range and the demographic for your WM's area didn't warrant a larger investment.

I live near 3(soon to be 4) WMs and they all stock differently and post sales differently. I think the best we can hope for is that WMs don't stop carrying HS completely. :wink:

my walmart has only a few lawnmowers thankyou and they never have scape, only sotmn. no wavepacks what so ever, it makes me sad.

A completely full shelf of Waves 4 and 6. It goes all the way down to the floor, and some were even stacked above the shelf. I suppose this Wal Mart was trying to get rid of their stock?

It was probably the most Heroscape I have ever seen in a single store.

Holy Crap!! Was this really taken just after Christmas? Most of the stores I go to are cleaned out. I have seen more in a store, but not just after Christmas. I once went to a Toys R Us and they had a whole display of Heroscape stuff in the front as well as about a quarter of an isle of Heroscape stuff in the game section.

That's quite a bit of HS stuff, especially after xmas. :shock: I took a chance and went to the new WM in my area. They had maybe 6 boxes of waves 4 5 and 6 combined. I was disheartened since I have those already, but decided to go ahead an double check. Luckily I found 2 packs of 4th Mass, 1 pack of Minions and 1 of the Heroes for wave 2 mixed into the bunch.

What's weird is that about 2 weeks earlier(before xmas) they had maybe 2 cases of wave 5. I wonder if the empty board game section has prompted WM's to started filling them up with all the HS they have. :?

well they have barly had any thing for the past year.I went back to wal mart wedesday and they still didn't have any thing.my dad went yesterday and they didn't have any thing and before christmas they didn't have any thing.I asked them to check the back and they went back there and could't find any thing but the master sets of heroscape.So I gusse my wal mart is not selling any little exspansionons or large exspansions anymore.I mean i can't even find any thing except master sets on wal-mart website,k mart website,or target website.oh well
