First and foremost I just wanted to say hello to all the familair faces from HS.net and HSHQ! It's good to see a lot of you still around, as well as all of the new people who have become HS fanatics. Despite another migration to a new home, it appears the HS community is as strong as ever. Goods stuff!

Ok, now down to business. So over the past several months I have been out of the loop as some of you may or may not have noticed. I have been busy with school and other hobbies and sort of lost interest in HeroScape (I know, shame on me!). I'm back though, and excited as ever! Since I have been gone for so long though, I need a little catchnig up. I have been browsing through the site for the last few days and think I have dug up most of the info available.

However, I do have a few questions that I have not seen answered (might have missed the info, or it just might not be available yet, I'm not sure). First and foremost do we know what side each of the new wave 5 figures belong to? I believe I read the rats and wolves are Utgar while and the Samarui and Ninjas are Einar. There is heavy evidence that leads us to believe the "Charlie's Angels" women are Jandar (the comic), and the Blastatrons are Vydar(Gladiatrons bio). What about the Gladiators and Amazons though? Do we have any info regarding them? I would guess the Gladiators are Einar and the Amazons Ullar but who knows?

Also, wave 4 and 4.5 seem to be as hard to find as ever.. STILL? I know I found quite a few wave 4 many months ago when the wave was first released, but NOTHING AT ALL since then (and part of the reason I lsot interest in HS). Wave 4.5 also has yet to be spotted anywhere besides online I read? Wow.

Anyways, I am sorry if any of these questions were answered elsewhere. Its definetly good to be back though, and it's great seeing you all again!

Shame on you Thor for getting out of the HS loop.

But hot damn, you're back! That more than makes up for your long absence. Get that orc avi back up!

Glad you didn't meet your demise in some wood chipper somewhere...

Thor's back!!! Or maybe he's just "some guy over on .net that was asking about skeletal pirates." LOL

Glad you're back home, man!

Welcome, son of Odin! :D The details of Wave 5 are still sketchy. Best to read several of the recent reports from the con in SoCal. Even Craig was surprised the website wasn't updated yet with their data.

Welcome back! Yup, pretty much in a holding pattern, but you should enter the http://reg.hasbro.com/Heroscape/BattleOfAllTime/ sweepstakes for your chance to wins a over a thousand dollars worth of stuff. Since the first drawing is on/about August 7th, get your entry in now!
This link is to the official rules, with drawing dates listed. http://reg.hasbro.com/Heroscape/BattleOfAllTime/Registration.aspx
I'm betting we see some more information by that drawing.

For Wave 4 and 4.5, I would suggest HouseMouse
http://www.housemousegames.com/heexse.html
http://www.housemousegames.com/avforpr2.html

She is also doing pre-orders for Thora's and Castles that you can get good prices on. Her shipment is due to arrive the same week as Gencon. If you check some of the House Mouse threads (her profile is HouseMouseGames ) then you can find some of the offers she has, I don't remember what code does what. Except FREESHIP gets free shipping on orders over $150

We have some info on Wave 5....check out the article and the threads for the limited info we have on powers...I'll just post the key points here. Agents, gladiators, samurai, and ninjas are unique....everything else common.

As for factions, we know the squad of gun-wielding robots (presumably "Blastatrons") are for Vydar (check their shoulder insidnias)....we know they are ranged, and that's about it.

We know the robo-rats are for Utgar (brands on their butts). Allskulls tells us they have disengage and some sort of dodge ability that allows them to move four spaces after dodging an attack. Most forumers assume they are the first "small" figures, which seems like a safe bet.

Allskulls tells us that the warriors (presumably "Amazons") are for Ullar and the samurai and ninjas for Einar. Nothing is known of Amazon powers, but ninjas have some sort of "dissappearing" ability. Samurai gain +3 move if they attack, according to allskulls.

The wolves we don't know much about yet. Place your bets....some say Utgar, some say Vydar.

The gladiators we know are three unique heroes....we assume at least one is for Einar, but it's anyone's guess. They could all go to one general or be split up two or three ways. Nothing known about powers. I'd assume the guy with the net is going to use it though! :-)

The agents are quite likely Jandar, based on the comic. They are obviously ranged, and that's all we know.

Best place to get Wave 4.5 is online...it's not that pricey either. If you want multiple Tundra HMG has got a pretty good deal going now on combos...combine it with an order of castles and wave five and you'll save a bundle on shipping, making it worth your while and about the same if not cheaper than the local store.

Welcome back!

Thanks for the warm welcome and info guys, definetly appreciated. It looks like I really havn't missed too much, thankfully. I did read through all the Comic-Con coverage you guys posted (great stuff), and have also placed a large order to get myself caught up on all the HS items I was still missing from my collection. Now I am pumped up for Gencon next week, I can't wait to see what new info we will find out there. Damn it feels good to be back!

There is a thread around somewhere where people were asking what happened to you. If you are interested it is labelled something like Mr Underhill blah blah blah or something along those terms. I think Ud named it so go figure
