If one of my figs is sitting on a lucky 20 sider glyph, and then i activate the massive curse glyph. does a roll of 1 OR 2 destroy that fig?

Employing the power of the lucky 20 is optional. I believe the wording is MAY add +1 to the die roll. ?

If you are on the glyph of Lodin (20 sider) and the glyph of Mitonsoul (massive curse) is then activated, you won't lose any figures becasue any roll of 1 well become a 2 due to the 20 sider; you dont lose a figure.

does that answer it?

welcome to the boards :-D

Right, what he said.

So in other words, you only lose a figure to the curse on a roll of 1. So if you have the lucky 20 sider, you may add +1 to your roll, meaning that you alway roll at least a 2 or higher. So you're safe.

is the additional +1 optional? Could you have Lodin and Mitonsoul and only effect your opponents?

Yeah, using Mitonsoul is completely optional. So when it's activated you can use Lodin to negate its effects on your units, but still allow your opponents' units to die on a roll of 1.

I didn't think that Massive Curse was optional. I thought you had to do it once the glyph was landed on.

Lodin's optional, but why wouldn't you want to use it when Massive Curse was landed on?

As far as I remember, the person who stepped on the glyph is the one that rolls the die for each figure, not the owner of each figure. You'd obviously want to use it for your own/teamate's units to save them and not for your opponent's figures if that is the case.

massive curse is a temporary glyph.....meaning after its activated it is no longer in play.
