I have to say I play regular herosacpe pretty often and I like it. I am really displeased that there are no female characters from the Marvel Universe yet available this does not make the game very "girl friendly" I really want to see some of my favorite Marvel fem fatals soon, Like Jean Grey, Siren, Rogue, White queen, She-Hulk and really any others.

I'm sure they'll get to them soon enough. Think of the target audience - I mean, come on. Girls have cooties.

What? You're not counting the Invisible Woman because you can't see her? :P Ok, well I guess she's not available yet...

I'd fully expect to see Elektra and Black Cat eventually, as well as the standard X contingent of Storm, Jean Grey, Rogue, Mystique etc... I would say that the first set was meant to include the biggies that most folks would recognize, but the inclusion of Abomination, Thanos and Red Skull seems to aim it more at a cross between casual and dedicated fans.(not that any of these are unknown, just...unfamiliar to casual fans :D ) If Hasbro sees it as a succesful branch of HS, then I think we can count on well known females making an appearance. Heck, why not a Femme Fatale(sp?) expansion. :D

Just cause I have the playboy bunny as my avatar does not mean I am a weird perv, interested in looking at little plastic naked women. First of all I am woman so I see those parts everyday no need to see them on something else. Secondly I just think the game needs more of the female characterd from the comic book is all.

There's always going to be a large majority of male figure releases over female ones. Simply because there's more iconic male characters than there are females across the board. Naturally they can't shoot the works on the first expansion of 10 figures by making half of them female. After a couple of expansions, there will be a ton of males still left to do and very few or no females. They'll come, but typically 1-2 per expansion. Same thing is true with action figures.

True beast, I would just be happy seeing at least one female a set.

Well, the Invisible Woman is in the first expansion, and there isn't much we can do about the Master not having a female. Though I understand your plight. My kids like those Super Hero Squad figures, very few packs have female characters. I think we have accumulated Invisible Woman and Electra, and I know that Black Cat is out there, but otherwise, pretty much all males, though we have about 6 Spiderman. I'd like to shoot the twit who thought Spiderman should be in every pack. Yeah, he's neat, but not THAT neat.

Actually so far in Super Hero Squad they've done the following...
Wasp - (w/ Hulk - SHS Series II)
Elektra - (w/ Daredevil - SHS Series II)
Invisible Woman (w/ Dr. Doom - SHS Series III)
Phoenix (w/ Wolverine [Brown] - SHS Series IV)
Black Cat (w/ Spider-Man - SM SHS Series IV)
Storm (w/ Black Panther - SHS Series V)
Rogue (w/ Gambit - SHS Series VI)
Dark Phoenix (SHS Collectors Pack I)
Shadowcat (SHS Collectors Pack II)
And there's P-sylocke and Spider-Woman (Red/Yellow) coming.

Beast, a lot of those aren't out where I am yet, the only other ones I have seen is Black Cat and Wasp. Either way, there are a lot more of those than Marvelscape. But no matter how you swing it, there are more to come. If they continue 1-2 females a wave I think they'd do well.

Hey, don't look at me, buddy, you got yourself into this one on your own.
As to the question at hand, I agree with those who are saying that the popular female characters will come with time and the success of the game. It'd be great if all things were equal in that regard, but the reality of icon characters doesn't exactly match up to such wishful thinking. That said, Marvel has a lot of great female characters, and even if their gender is a bit outnumbered on the whole, I feel confident we'll be seeing plenty of our favorites, like Storm and She-Hulk and Jean Grey and Elektra and so on in time.

Spiderman is THAT neat! Still, some more variety would probably have been better...
