I’ve been a HeroScape veteran for a little over two years now. I have looked to this site for guidance for 18 months. I’ve always wanted to join. I always wanted to hold the title of Scaper. I’ve always searched for an excuse to join, something on the lines of a decent question for the forums or whatever. Sure enough, by the time one pops into my head, I always come to find out that somebody already beat me to the question at hand. After a year and a half, I’m tired of waiting. It is now time that I hold my head up high and officially say, “I am a HeroScaper!”

I apologize if anybody who thought that this thread was based around a question, and if they found it to be a waste of time, I apologize even further. I just couldn’t help but to express what feels like a triumph to me. I feel truly overjoyed.

You don't have to wait for a reason to join just do it for the heck of it.

At least you didn't join and post a question that we have seen before and spam up the place. Good job, now post your favorite army.

For me its a bit tough. I usually enjoy having James Murphy and/or Q10 in my army, but I really enjoy using at least:

Blastatrons x2
Gladiatrons x2

They serve their purpose quite well, in my opinion...

I once took out the Hulk with Major X17 and a few Blastatrons. You have a good core of an army build there, sir!

Welcome, Lank! Hope to see you stay for a long time :) !
About your army, you should watch out for Braxas. My wife's Braxas and Kelda took out my Blas/Glad army as easily as snow melting in Arkansas!

Hey Lank, welcome. Do you live close enough to attend the Western PA tournaments? Check the events section for details, or PM me.

We have a sizable contingent from WVA.

I admire your patience to search for answers before making or avoiding making redundant threads or posts.

You don't need to join the forums to hold the title Scaper though. All you have to do is to love the game and play it...and own a Heroscape pack. :D Welcome to the forums, scaper.

Braxas and possibly Isamu would fill in that army pretty nicely. Braxas is your sweeper, the core robots are your backup.

Welcome to the board fellow scaper, so great to see the game is still growing.

Scape On'

And don't forget about NHSD next year, it is never to early to plan an event near you , or to find the closest one and makes plans on being there!

I'd like to thank everyone for the warm welcome, along with the added strategy tips, tourney invitations (although I must admit, I'm not to much of a tournament type of guy), and the hugs. I somewhat feel as if I'm finally among my kind of people. Thanks again.

It seems Aldin isn't on the ball today...

*Does his best Aldin voice* (with a huzzah twist)

On behalf of our Robot-using and Shotgunning community, I extend to you a glass of whiskey and a manly handshake.

-Huzzah, as not to step on Aldin's toes.

:) Silly Lank, you'd feel even more among your peeps if you attended a tournament...becuase you would be, physically so, whilst havin' tons of fun! And you'd learn a thing or two about swimming with sharks that would improve your overall game.

But, if you opt out, that's cool. Peace, man. We'll scape outside of time at that great 100,000,000 X MS board in the sky. (Lord, in the sky.)

Your Aldin was OK, just work on extending less whiskey and more laurels and I think it will be spot on.

Welcome, Lank. Have yourself a nice, tall glass of healthy HS obsession.

Lucky people, the only person I know who also plays heroscape is my brother, and no tournaments to be found.

Stupid Murfreesboro...

Stupid Murfreesboro...

While my HS buddy is only 10 min. away, he is not often available and you are much closer to a few of the cons than I am.

In the friendliest possible way, cry me a river.
