Likely this will be their one shot at getting Hasbro product into the news until the Christmas period.
And like every other year, they use it to wibble on about their latest, greatest, product - Monopoly.
This time the innovation isn't a re-sculpted dog, wipe-clean board or editting of two place names, it's the elimination of cash. Money will instead be tracked by a pocket calculator.
Now this might not appear to be on-topic for HS, but I think that it's a very good example of the total failure of imaginiation that we see in the UK on the part of the local arm of Hasbro. For as long as they expend all their efforts on finding novel ways to push a 70-year old product, I fully expect to see no real improvement in the availability of Heroscape.
We saw some Wave 1 briefly; the Master Set was widely available for about 12 months; but both have largely disappeared, with little or no hope of seeing Waves 2-5. Indeed, my last email to them received the reply "We're going to ask the marketing department, and we'll get back to you". That was 6 months ago. Still, at least I now know just how busy the marketting department has been.
