A friend of mine just bought this game and says it's awesome. It uses the Fluxx mechanics, but centers everything around, go ahead and guess, zombies. I've bought it, but I haven't had the chance to play it yet. Thumbing through the cards though, it looks like it'll be a blast.

Anybody else try this game out yet?

You can look at what I'm talk about here. (http://www.fluxxgames.com/)

Never played Fluxx but I was thinking about picking this up for the Zombie theme. My friends and I are all big fans of the genre. After a game or two post your opinions on it, I'm curious as to how it plays. (I know nothing of Fluxx the main game)

I've never played a Fluxx game until a couple of weeks ago, which happened to be Zombie Fluxx. I like Zombies (they're so cute and cuddly) but I wasn't a big fan of the game. Needless to say, I think I will be avoiding the rest of these "Fluxx" games. To boring.

I've played a ton of Fluxx games. The real point of the game is to keep it going so that you can mess with the other players. It's all about making things keep changing as much as possible.

Only focusing on winning in Fluxx is like only using one army every single time you play HeroScape. It's limiting and will get steadily more and more pointless.

It seems to me that Fluxx is like 1000 Blank White Cards (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1000_Blank_White_Cards) but for people with no imagination.

I see they've commercialized Werewolf, too.

Nope, Fluxx has blank cards too, they're called Fluxx Blanxx. There are tons of player created cards and they're shared on the Fluxx site. I've made a few, but you can play it straight out of the box with almost no learning curve.

Heck, I wish I could figure out such a creative way to make a buck!

To quote a friend: Fluxx is 4 people trying to play solitaire with one deck of cards. Not to hate on a game other people like or anything.

It's an entertaining game. Girls tend to like to play it for its simplicityy (so if you're looking for a game to play with your gf/wife this is a game for you. It's fun and better than regular Fluxx IMO.

I greatly enjoy playing fluxx. It has teh ability to be a quick game and good for groups of people. Zombie fluxx as well as the other "booster" fluxx add new depth and options to the game. It can be really fun to stack it all together and play a massive game.

Fluxx is one of those games that you either "like" or hate. People are very polarized when it comes to this game. I happen to "like" it but then again I like all kinds of games. have not checked out Zombie Fluxx though. One day I will probably get it because I like Fluxx.
