View Full Version : considering a 9 player FFA with 11 MS

okay, so we all know player_of_football and i are in the same play-group. Well, he has done his duties as a long time 'scaper and recruited 2 little newbies (no, not you lilnewbie) at the exact same time (yay josh!).

Well, with these 2 new players, we will have 11 mastersets, and 9 players. One day, i am determined to do a 2000 point, 9-way, last-man-standing free for all. 18,000 point on one map made with 11 ms, 3, VW, 3 RttFF and various expansions. oh man, talk about the battle of all time!

seriously. a 18,000 point game would take forever. It took 6 hours to do a 5,000 point game!

i wont be posting the battle report, thats for sure. i am excited about building teh field. Anyone got a 11 MS field with 9 starting zones, or will i be setting a precedent?

That would be total carnage if we do that. It would take so long just to do a round. The alliances that would be there :twisted: Man now i cant wait. WAIT!!!! what about your tournament this summer K/H???

i was thinking last night if i could get a date that works with all 9 of us (my all of us i mean Chris), maybe i could run that single match as the tourney and have prizes of some sort for the Top 3. I''ll talk more to ya when i see ya

With a large enough map you could come up with a way that more than one player goes at a time. You could have three teams of three and have all three players from each team go at the same time. You would have two people to watch each of them as they played. This could work. Or you could have each of the team members Move, move, move and then attack, attack, attack. then on to the next team...

i have a conversion for my custom Heroscape table that makes it big enough for 8 people. I'm trying to figure out the best way to do an epic battle without making people wait too long between turns.

i have two 6-foot tables that are probably 2.5-3 feet wide that i would intend on using. Each table can comfortable fit 6 people, so i should have room
