I just bought a couple packs of these, $3 for a set of 5 and $3 for the big one alone.
I was gonna show off pics of mine, but I have lots of trouble getting pics up so heres one off their website. Unfortunately they dont seem to show the 5 pack, but they look similar to the ones here

Yeah theres a lot of great stuff that wouldnt work well here. If you like that tree did you see the one thats a living treehouse trying to lure kids with candy?

Im not sure about compared to them, but I have some stones and Marros with me here. On the basic Marro figure the two larger stones are a bit over his head, and the three smaller ones are roughly shoulder height

sounds like the right sort of size to me. am i right in thinking that the stones are supplied pre-painted, and are they made of hard or soft plastic?

They are prepainted, Id say they feel more like a ceramic or something rather than plastic like most of these kind of decorations usually are. Theyre nice and light but they seem like they may chip easily if not treated decently.

It's gotta be one of the weirdest thread titles I've come across in a long time.
Sounds like a rock album or something. :?

Last Christmas, WalMart had some really good things, like walls and such. But I've found the coolest stuff at pet stores for fish tanks. I've picked up several romanesque ruins that are the perfect size. I've also seen several bridges that looked pretty cool.
Another place to look is at the Dollar Tree during the holidays. They always have scenic decorations and everything is a buck.

I've seen some cool roman columns and such at my local pet store (aquarium things, like you said) but whilst it looked excellent and I was eager to buy it for Heroscape, the price tag was, to put it lightly, completely unbelievable. For the same price as four columns (measuring about 3/4 inch diameter and five inches high/long and in various positions - laying down, etc) I could buy another Master Set. (£4.95 each)
Absolutely ridiculous for something that is just going to be put in a fish tank to be priced that high. You would think it was made of gold or something...

I stopped at a Michael's today and they had those little tombstones, picked up a set for $2.50. Started thinking about some sort of Airborne-Elite style drop zone for undead. Something along the lines of placing the tombstones on the board, some maximum hex distance (maybe 6-8) between any two of them, and having a squad of undead that roll each turn to drop in adjacent to a tombstone. It's less powerful than the AE drop since it is limited to a particular zone, but could be pretty cool since your opponent would avoid the graveyard.

They have a cool look to them and the best news is you do not even have to put them on bases.
