Cool but weird they would list the castle before TT/RV.

Yeah, my Amazon.com order is listed as an estimated arrival of something like August 10-22.

I guess that means I'll be able to buy them at gencon. Its almost like they aimed for a gencon release date

The Target set has 41 more pieces than the Amazon set?

Yeah, I know Amazon is using the toy fair image of the box and not a more recent image.

Look closely at the packages. The Amazon box says "100 Castle Pieces'; the Target (and Hasbro) box says "141 Fortress and Terrain Pieces'. It looks as if they just redefined what they were going to count as 'pieces' in the box in order to make it look as if you're getting more; if you go back and count the components from the Castles rules posted in this article (http://heroscapers.com/?p=20), the total number does come out to 141.

The box art Amazon.com has is of the prototype box Hasbro showed at ToyFar'06.

That image is now obsolete.

The official box art with the correct information is that which Target lists (as does the official Heroscape site).

Yes, I know it is an old image -- I even say so in the last line of the original post.

It was supposed to be humorous about getting 41 more pieces from Target than Amazon. Oh well.

Ok, so im at Wal-Mart and im seeing spaces for the castle. Its a bit cheaper like 27.99 or somthing. The little tags with the price, say heroscape tower expansion.

So im pretty sure these are the castles, they are the most expensive expansions yet, over 20, they are new spaces, and they say tower expansion, so im pretty sure were going to see them very soon in Wal marts. All three of the stores around here had the spaces.

i ordered mine from amazon.com and it was 27.99 with free shipping and no tax! so actually, amazon.com is the cheapest of all! just FYI if you want to save a few bucks.
