Modular Card Maker - Opinions and Questions

Hey guys. I was wondering whether there was a program that lets you modularly build up the look of a custom card?

What I mean by this is a program that lets you pick a green tartan pattern frame, the offical utgar figure background with a star patterned background to the abilities text. Obviously no one would want that card but the example puts across the modular idea quite well.

The software I have seen for making custom HS cards seems to use pre set templates and don't allow anything outside of the templates.

If no such thing exists do you guys think it would be a good tool? Something worth making and releasing to the community? Any other opinions?

I have a rough version that I've been putting together that is complete enough to call it a preview build that I could upload. It doesnt have many parts yet but the basic functionality is there.

If you're talking about HCC, then you just jave to wait a month or two:
i'm rewriting the whole "card drawing" code, giving the user a way to customize the "fill" of the various elemnts of the card:
the border
the text and figure areas
the background

... if i've right understood, it's more or less what you're sking for.

Depending on how much time i'll need to finish these goals, i have some other improvements in mind, but i want to keep it for me, so if i can't realize them i will not be a mouthfull :)

Anyway, if you have an almost working app, just offer it to the community: the great value here is the sharing of the ideas :)
