Who here has had luck with guilty?
At 30 points some of you may consider him filler but he is almost always under estimated by my opponets. I try save him to the end of the game and mop up my opponest remaing melee units. His double attack rock and he is good for killing cheap squads. Your thoughts???

I send him out first against squads to weaken them up or take 'em out.
That way my squads can focus on thier job.

Guilty has his place, but he's never going to be a unit that people draft first.

guilty is powerful, but just like me burg sa he has that low defense/ low life combo, wich is why he should be left at the end of the draft, as a point filler for when you have 30-40 points left, and are not running an orc or venoc army.

guilty is the man, opponents do underestimate him and I tend to leave him as clean up at the end as well. typically hiding him from in the beginning and not touching him til the end lets opponents forget about him. best 30 points I ever spend.

I use Guilty as a home base early warning guard in larger games to soften the approach of my enemies, and in smaller games I use him generally in the mid-game to pick off troops that have strayed from the pack.
Oh and feekonea, Me-Burq-Sa is one of the best troops in the game, in my opinion. I often draft him early on, especially if I'm running a Roman Legion centered army. Me-Burq-Sa's power and decent range attack is fantastic for knocking out Zettian Guards, Sentinels, Krav Maga Agents, Samurai, Minions, EOVs, and any other squaddie with high base defense or defense-oriented powers. The fact that he bonds with Romans and has one of the game's highest move values is just icing.

jcb, I completely agree. me burg sa is awesome. I love using him and hes in one of my favorite armys, even though I do not use him as a combo for the legionnaires. I was just using him as an example, because I think everyone here can agree that he doesnt have the best staying power, but he is awesome either way.

I'm not arguing with you jcb231, but I have to ask...how many times have you actually faced an army using the Zettians? I don't think I've seen hide nor hair of them since the first expansion came out. :P

Guilty can be very dangerous. I had a battle where my Tagawa Samurai slaughtered several armies and Guilty was the last opponent left. The little cowboy managed to wipe out the 2 remaining Samurai, 1 Krav Maga and 2 Marro Warriors before finally falling to my last remaining unit, a Marro Warrior.

On HQ, Brainysmurf made quite the case for choosing the Zettians over DW 8000. It convinced me. I'm sure that the Zettians are universally considered to be the worst squad thus far, but what Brainysmurf said was that unless DW8000 is shooting against the vipers, he isn't likely to get more than two shots off anyway (Yes, I know, you've all seen games where DW 8000 has killed twenty guys in one second...however, I totally don't care). THe fact is, that for half the cost, you are assured of getting two shots every time, until one of them gets killed.
That is all.

He doesn't have enough life points for my liking, my least favourite cowboy figure anyway!

I don't now how you can say that he's my second favorite next to Deadeye. For his low point amount he rules, get him on hight and this guy can do damage, especially to horde armies.

I love the image I've got in my mind. There's Guilty up on high as the Orc swarm approaches, "You want some? I got some for you AND you! C'mon, I'll take you all on!"
BAM! BAM!

Maybe i'm just being bitter because i had him in a random draft battle and he died almost straight away without touching anyone!

Guilty McCreech is a sneaky bastard...plain and simple. I have lived to regret his revolvers in at least 3 games in recent memory.
One in recent times...I had just pulled off a 20 sniper attack with Deadeye against Major X17 (or whomever the gattling gun dude is.) My opponent had guilty hanging out in a cliff above me, and managed to get the drop on me. Totally taking the wind out of such a glorious headshot!
Get him to high ground, and he PWNS.

I have seen them here and there. They are not in the top tiers of frequency, but they do get used. Folks who like to use DW9K (and there are a lot of those folks) often pair him with the Zettians...it's a decent pair sometimes.
I myself will sometimes use the Zettians in a high defense army, which can be insanely frustrating for certain opponents. Put them in a force with figures like Thor and Raelin and they can be really annoying for a while....usually long enough to do what they need to do.

Used Guilty last night in a 400 point game. With height advantage, and a glyph, he was rolling 4-dice attacks, twice every turn. That's like getting a squad's worth of attack for only 30 points. Granted, you can't leave him where he'll have to duke it out with somebody, low life and all, but still he's a bargain at 30 points. As much as I complain about the cowboys, Guilty is one of my favorites.
The Zettians put in an appearance for the first time in a long time. Man, they move slooooooooooooooooooooow! In their first trun, they got into position and largely wiped out my Aubriens, who had failed to frenzy, they didn't affect the fight much. Then one went under to Guilty's guns. The other lumbered over to a glyph and was used as a guard for the rest of the game. Eventually taken down by the EOV. I don't know - the Zettians just don't impress me. Lots of defense but low move and attack.

I still can't believe I'm not hearing support for James Murphy! That dude is a killer! In fact, I have seen him decimate the 4th mass. It gets ugly.
Same with Shotgun Sullivan.

Actually I draft him first here and there. I've used him fairly often but most of the time he's the first out. I plan on having him dead most of the time which is why I like his points.
The best kill I've ever had him do was a Brunak who already had 1 wound.

I've used the zetties with DW9K found a range glyph, attack glyph, deathwalker next to, them height advantage, and Taelord... man they were kickin butt 13 range and 5 attack (6! if you attacked the same guy YAY!)
Never used guilty before nor Have I played against him but he does sound pretty cool! :)

My question with Guilty is, when he attacks twice, can he hit different figures?

Yes. Check out the Heroscape.com FAQ under Syvarris (who has the same power).
