Wow, I should of thought about this long ago... I took a look at the maps and noticed that there are three glyphs in the training ground map. Which two glyph locations will be used? The two that aren't in the center?

It's not my place to make a call on the dice charts, but I will say that at most tournaments that I have been involved in all "cheat sheets" (such as dice charts) were illegal.

I will be bringing all my dice, wound and order markers but I would suggest bringing your own. At least 1 set of order marker 1 set of dice and enough wound markers to cover your army. You also need to bring something to roll in shoe box, dice tower or something like that innless you like playing the dice chase game.
Also thank you to staff at Heroscapers, Hendal,
Sandra at HouseMouseGames and Hasbro for all their gifts and help :D :D :!:
And yet again thank you to necroblade for getting this started

Wave 1 generally isn't too hard to find. It went dry about 2 years ago and there was a huge scramble to find it (right when I got into HS). Hasbro re-released Wave 1 in large quantities a number of months later and I think we're still seeing ripples of that because of Walmart and Target's snail pace of distribution. Here in St. Augustine, I saw Wave 1 at Walmart a number of months back and it just showed up at Target.

Just got back home into the West Palm area, had a blast at the tourney; I need to come up with a wild way out there theme for the next one! Thanks to Necro and DBZKing for putting so much work into it all, and a second one to Necro for being the most apologetic and nice winner I've had the pleasure of being beaten by (my whole two defense rolls with actual shields showing up thank you  ).
Vydar played an excellent several rounds, though I did not have the privilege to play him myself, but I had a great time in the 5 rounds I played and the mass 4-player on-the-fly map that a couple of us built and played on during the semi-final and final.
Congrats to all, thanks again!

Congrats to Blue Dane and his son for cleaning up the consolation prizes. (Oldest- 45, Youngest-7, Strength of Schedule - Little Dane, Furthest Traveled, and two of the raffled prizes)
Thanks Buddy Lee who put a master woo in the prize package and wrapped it in a brown box not telling us what it was, luckily I took a chance on it with my 3rd place pick.
Congrats to DBZking for the sportsmanship award. ( He deserved it after going 0-5 and enjoying every minute of it)

A HUGE THANK YOU to dbzking and NecroBlade for running the tournament! It was an awesome turnout, a great venue, the event ran very smoothly, and we even stayed right on schedule to the end! All of those show that this was a well planned tournament, which is a difficult thing to pull off the first time around.
Thank you to NecroBlade for PMing me or I never would have heard of the tourny.
Thank you to Hendal for providing the gold nugget!
Thank you to dbzking for providing the Flag Bearers. I didn't have any and the prize you added gave me a complete set!
Thank you to whoever it was that provided the Master Set I also picked up. This will most likely go to my friend I just introduced to HS the night before the tournament. If he hadn't had to work, he sounded like he would have even come with me to play!
Thanks to all the others who contributed to the prize support including HouseMouseGames and Hasbro (with help from GrungeBob)!
I had a great time meeting everyone, played a lot of close battles, and met some great people. I now feel more connected to the community than I have in a long time. Still, I won't be posting a lot (when I do I find I waste too much time I should be spending on my work), but you can always get my attention with a PM. If anyone is ever up in the St. Augustine area, drop me a line.[/b]
Congrats to Vydar. Your lucky we never played.

I'm in a bunch of those pictures and, as usual, I look like a dork.
I like the one of me with the trophy and the master set. Too bad I swapped for the flag bearers when I realized that all 5 of them were together rather than separate. I've been wanting to play Laglor and Gilbert for a while now.
I just finalized my battle report. I'm sure most people don't care about most of the details, but I tried to be very complete with armies I faced and links to the maps, etc.

Considering I played two of the finalists ( EDIT: Now that I think about it I may have played three of the top four: Dustin, Sisyphus, and maybe Roller. Someone please correct me if I am mistaken. ) , I am happy with how I did. Every game was a good one.
The pick up game during the finals was a blast. It was fun to see himsati's samurai army vs my hoard of Omnicron Snipers. The battle for the tower was great. Neither gave or was given any quarter.
I look forward to seeing everyone in the future.

On behalf of Dustin and myself (the second place and second to last place finishers, respectively), I would like to say we had a great time, and look forward to playing again with you guys in the future. Thanks to everyone who helped make it happen! You guys rock!
Something I wanted to mention was that I think it may be worth it to list some rules clarifications that everyone learned at the tournament. I, for one, had a few I remember asking, and tried to answer a few myself, including:
-You place flags before rolling for initiative. (We always played the opposite, it is way better.)
-Special attacks must attack the engaged figure, and cannot shoot at a distant opponent (this I knew).
-Double space figures need to start (and end) both spaces on road tile to get the +3 movement bonus.
-When climbing, count the wall of the bridge as 2 spaces.
-Samurai counterstrike does not work against other samurai, nor does it work against special attacks.
-Marro Stingers who fail to roll for the Drain Power (4 or lower) lose their attack for that round, but not their movement.
-When too many dice are rolled, they should all be rerolled, not just have the extras taken away and count the rest, even if they were what you were looking to roll.
-Ninjas may still disappear when in a cyberclaw? (I think my initial response when asked this was no, but I still am not sure. I think only the additional 4 movement spaces are lost, not the loss of damage. Thoughts?)
-You need to roll a 5 or higher for the negation glyph to work (not a 1 as I did), and it only works on unique cards (that are in play, hence not Rechets or Airbourne Elite, right?).
-Laglor needs to be within 4 spaces of other Vydar figures for the +2 range enhancement to work.
-The Nakita Agents' Smoke Powder does not work for special attacks.
-Apparently, summoning glyphs can be placed next to lava, and used to summon a figure onto it.
Please post other clarifications all of you may have had or heard during the competition. It should be a nice refresher, even to the experts.
And dbzking, thanks for posting the final listing. I guess RLS was not even needed (were they even recorded?). So do you think anyone would be interested in our awesome battle report for last place?

-You place flags before rolling for initiative. (We always played the opposite, it is way better.)
The reason you don't place before rolling is that winning initiative can already a big advantage. If I can now be absolutely sure that I've won, I can abuse that initiative roll to the extreme.
-Ninjas may still disappear when in a cyberclaw? (I think my initial response when asked this was no, but I still am not sure. I think only the additional 4 movement spaces are lost, not the loss of damage. Thoughts?)
NecroBlade looked this up in the FAQ when Harold and I matched up. Ninjas must finish their turn non-adjacent to a figure in order to disappear. Since they cannot move from engagement (due to cyberclaw), they cannot disappear.
-You need to roll a 5 or higher for the negation glyph to work (not a 1 as I did), and it only works on unique cards (that are in play, hence not Rechets or Airbourne Elite, right?).
*shakes fist at Dustin* - You mean I had a chance that you might not have negated my Q10 on the first game?! All the more reason to throw Drake in the lava! ;)
The only one I'd add is one I botched on my second round:
Movement enhancements (+2 movement glyph, road bonus) do not work on the Gladiatrons or Gorillinators in the Nakita/Gorillinator and Blastitron/Gladiatron movement bonding.

And yes Buddy, we played the final pre-lim game. Where our Q-10's squared off against one another.
I thought so.
That was probably one of the best one vs one I've ever played. I am still amazed that I actually came out ahead on that battle.
Thanks for a great game.

-You place flags before rolling for initiative. (We always played the opposite, it is way better.)It's in the rules. ;)

-When too many dice are rolled, they should all be rerolled, not just have the extras taken away and count the rest, even if they were what you were looking to roll. This could be done either way. It was really up to you and your opponent to agree on, though next time we'll make an announcement on how to do it for the whole tournament.
-Ninjas may still disappear when in a cyberclaw? (I think my initial response when asked this was no, but I still am not sure. I think only the additional 4 movement spaces are lost, not the loss of damage. Thoughts?)This was brought up in one of Vydar's games. No, the Ninja can't disappear. They must be able to end their move not adjacent to any enemy figures in order to disappear (this includes movement and damage prevention).
-You need to roll a 5 or higher for the negation glyph to work (not a 1 as I did), and it only works on unique cards (that are in play, hence not Rechets or Airbourne Elite, right?).The glyph states that you must choose a unique figure. Since the AE or Retchets aren't in play (but their cards are), you can't choose them.
-Laglor needs to be within 4 spaces of other Vydar figures for the +2 range enhancement to work. It's on the card. ;)
-The Nakita Agents' Smoke Powder does not work for special attacks. It's on the card. ;)
-Apparently, summoning glyphs can be placed next to lava, and used to summon a figure onto it.My apologies to Drake. (But, again about the glyphs I'll say. 'I told you so.' :P)

Man! You'd think it would be important to read the rules or something after a post like that...
PS - Drake got his just deserts. Don't you even try to tell me that Dustin wasn't aiming to do that exact thing to my Q10 when he landed his Airborne Elite right next to both glyphs. I just managed to wrest control of one of them before he got to it. Besides, Q10's negation made him Drake fodder my previous match against Dustin.

I wanted to thank you fellas for putting on the tourney again. All in all I think it went smoothly for Florida's first. Personally it was well worth the drive over to Orlando. I especially enjoyed the match(es) with dbz king and Himsati. Grimnak was feeling a little peckish CHOMP!!! Just kidding. And the match with dbz king was a riot. It's good to laugh. Even when Starwolf stomped me in record time it was amusing to say the least. It was a blast and look forward to doing it again. I will post some pics soon just been so damn busy.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll let everyone know if we can get anything going at Sci-Fi City again soon, so keep watching this thread. Hopefully we'll have at least one more before the end of the year.

Like I said in the "Florida Organization" thread maybe we could get some regular gaming done there for local central Floridians. we might only need maybe one or two tables there if only four or five people arrive every week. It sounds llike south Florida is getting some regular gaming done down there. Or maybe we could find some place else that is better and still local.

I just checked the website and it says that they have open gaming nights on sundays and mondays. That is a good thing because we don't have to reserve anything every week. Still waiting for a few more people though to get it started. Maybe two or three more people.

Actually it says on the website that they have something planned on Saturday and their open gaming nights are on sundays and mondays. Also I don't think everyone can make it on such short notice unless they change there schedule right at the last minute. I know I wouldn't be able to make it this weekend.
