Chiron's very own cavalry. Built to fit an army of him and 4 cavalry units (500 pts.).
http://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l169/brickman144/custom%20heroscape/Chiron.jpg
A simple cavalry leader who works well with the Templars (fits a 500 pt. army with the templars). But I think I'll make him some cavalry of his own soon.

This one was a test for whitestuff's gimp tutorial. It's also been a figure I've wanted to use for awhile.
http://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l169/brickman144/custom%20heroscape/RaidenMortalCombat.jpg
Raiden from Mortal Kombat. Next I'll probably make Scorpion.
http://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l169/brickman144/custom%20heroscape/AlphaWolffinished.jpg
A simple filler unit for the deathstalkers using a dreamblade figure.

Reading through Nilfheim, I noticed a cult of Icarians called the Nhah Scirh. I made this guy to be the leader and namesake of the cult. He grows stronger the more dragons he kills.
I've been messing around with the Vydar template and I recreated an old custom with a new template: the survivors.

http://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l169/brickman144/custom%20heroscape/Col.jpg
Based off another microhero. This guy was too close to an explosion and had be become a cyborg to live. He had the machine gun attached for fun.
http://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l169/brickman144/SargentGeorgeLeefinished.jpg
Based off a microhero I made a while ago. His main weapon is an axe on a fairly long chain that he can spin around or hurl and use as a grappling hook.

Who has the scariest biggest powerful figures in the game almost (Utgar duh)

Depends. Ullar Has Charos, who with 9 life and counterstrike, can be a very frightening opponent. Jandar Has nilfhein, who has claimed te title of KHA's favorite Hero. Einar has the Tagawa Samurai (my favorite squad) who can have 6+ attack, and counterstrike; very intimidating. Jandar also has Sirdenrick, who gets 6 attack against huge figures, such as Krug, Grimnak, Mimring, Brunak, etc (all of whom are Utgarians.) Vydar has Braxas, who can eliminate your average squad in a single turn, as well as Major Q9, who has the same potential.
brickman1444
July 10th, 2006, 04:59 PM
Come on! Utgar has Deathwalker 9000 who has 7 range, 4 attack and range enhacment(which helps the zettian guards also utgarians. Utgar has mimring with 4 attack and fire line, and utgar also has subakna brunak and deathwalker 8000 to just name a few! take that!

Utgar has tons of awesome units check them out some time when ur not staring at jandars

DW9K falls to Nilfheim. 1 life is his (and all other Deathwalker's) tragic flaw.
Mimring has only 3 defense, and can be taken out by a mobile Syvarris, who has 9 range and the capability to stay just out of mimrings range. Also, he has to beware of Sir Denrick and an adjacent Agent Carr. Subakna also has only 3 defense, and can be eliminated by any squad with 4+attack. As for DW8K, all i have to say now is Touche. DW8K is my favorite Soulborg (although i hate soulborgs) Brunak has 7 defense, but can still be taken out by nilfheim, or Sir Denrick, or Agent Carr (if engaged).

I'm not denying that Utgar isn't powerful, i'm just saying that he is not god among HS. I admire his Minions (i have 3 sets) and Telord (where would i be with out him?)

note when u told all of utgars weaknesses, those are all different generals so they all wouldnt be fighting at once (that would be cool tho)(and agent carr is from vydar which is currently allied with utgar, so they wouldnt fight each other)

i know the allinaces, but im not sure how many people here use armies that follow them, but i sure dont.
All of Utgars/Vydars units can be eliminated by Jandar/Ullar/Einar. Remember: There's power in numbers. It would be 3 on 2. Who do you think would win?
brickman1444
July 10th, 2006, 10:04 PM
u never use ur whole army at once unless you have complete overkill, you always have backup, which would probably be one of their most powerful and some less powerful squads. And im not talking about a real game, i mean like in movies comics and scenarios.

you need to give me examples of armies. Utgars most threatening unit IMO is DW8K. He took out nilfheim in one turn and did 4 damage to jotun in another turn. Everyone else can be taken out so easily

deathwalker 7k, (if lava is on thefiald obsidian guards, if not these guys are backup), marrden hounds, deathwalker 8k, taelord, subakna, (if lava brunak, if not hes backup), krug, deathwalker 9k, zettians
backup:meburqsa, khomsumet, minions, anubian wolves, mimring, negoksa, grimnak
note:i left out most marro and orcs and all others that i thought were pretty useless

Well, since they are from the future I wanted to make the metal super tough and impenetrable. I think there is still enough red to target them. Using old abilities on new cards was exactly what I was going for. I'll fix the green dot right away.(EDIT: Fixed)

Hostage needs some rewording, but I'm not exactly sure what the final wording should be. The things that need fixing, though are you say unengaged, yet they have to be adjacent to Roulette. I would say "engaged only with Roulette." Also, you say the figure can't be moved by any glyphs or powers, but then you move the figure via Hostage. Maybe "can't be moved by any glyphs or powers other than Hostage." Other than that, another cool fig!
IAmBatman
April 29th, 2007, 12:02 AM
it also seems like the hostage being destroyed should be based on a D20 roll, b/c, for instance, when someone's holding someone hostage, sometimes you can kill them before they get to the hostage, sometimes you can't. Seems like a D20 situation to me.
Maybe just get rid of the stab in the back to have more room for what's a very inventive and interesting power (even if it needs a couple tweaks) in hostage.

And Nhah Scirh is interesting, but I don't see him doing anything but dieing in his quest to kill dragons. He'll never do it with those stats.
Yeah, I agree. I don't even think he would do to well against Mimring.

All right, here's my critique:
Alpha Wolf: As was said, change Pack Leader to read, "any squad". As well, Deathstalkers is supposed to be capitalized. You could probably also get away with giving him an extra Defence or Life.
Nhah Scirh: Definately too weak. I'd say give him 5 Attack, 4 Defence, and give him an ability something like this:
DRAGON SLAYER
Nhah Scirh rolls 2 additional attack dice when attacking a Dragon figure.
Then give him a cost of 100-110 points and I think you'd be good to go.
Col. Robert Bixby: It looks like his main method of attack would be his gun arm, so you should give him a range of 7.

I don't think the 7 range was necessary, but it works either way. I think you messed up the dragonslayer card, though. Now it says that both markers enhance his attack...so why would you ever put a red marker on him?

Strength in Failure
If <unit> fails to roll any shields when defending, <unit> can take no wounds from that attack.

Sounds cool, but the figure would need to have a resonable defense like a 4/5 so that it didn't happen every turn.

Yeah, or maybe I'll change it to say that the most wounds you can take from the attack is 1. Any ideas for a character for the ability?

Something ghostly or otherwise ephemeral would be cool. A big trash monster? Maybe a Sandman custom for Marvelscape?

Chiron's very own cavalry. Built to fit an army of him and 4 cavalry units, which ends up as 500 pts.
I was completely surprised the points worked out so well with these guys and Chiron, and the templars and Chiron, both being able to fit 500 pt. armies.

I just came up with an idea that I wanted to bring up hear before I just went and did it. I was thinking of creating my own "wave" called Frankenstein's Lab. It would include Dr. Frankenstein himself, some common hero lab assistants, frankensteins monster, some robots and a system for making chemical concoctions that allow you to create (summon) more monsters.
Comments? Suggestions?

O.K. I've started to come up with the system for creating more monsters. Dr. Frank receieves markers when figures do certain things like land on glyphs or die adjacent to him. Figures will require Dr. Frank to have certain markes on him before the are let on the battlefield.
So far I came up with:
A lightning marker for figures landing on the initiative glyph, the marvel object of power or having a soulborg die next to him. This will be one of the most basic markers. It will be used to give monsters life.
A body marker for having a non-soulborg die next to him. This will be used to "create" monsters.
A swamp water marker for having a figure land on a swamp water space. This will be used to sumon the creature from the black lagoon.
A time marker for figures landing on the marvel mysterious item. This will be used to bring to the battlefield monster from the past like Imhotep.
A wolf hair marker for having a wolf die next to him. This will be used to create the wolfman.
Any other ideas for monster or markers?

I like the Centaurs, though making them a squad of three and giving them an attack of 2 would have helped. Making them knights is certainly useful with Concan.

I would have made them a squad of 3 but them the figure picture would look bad because it would be the same figure next to itself twice. I think 1 attack is good because if Chiron already attacked the figure that they are going to attack, that's + 1, and if the figure was 4 spaces away, that's + 1 also. So they can actually roll 3 attack dice. I didn't even think about Concan when I made them, I was mainly thinking of the Templars.

Just noticed Ihmotep doesn't have a point cost, which he will for drafting additional monsters.
The guys who can start on the board (Frankenstein, Gretchen, Talbot, Test Subjects, and Jekyll) total 620. I'd suggest trying to get that down to an even 600.
The door is still a bit tough, especially with Jekyll in your army.
I really like the flavor this set has, and the scenario you described to me sounds like a lot of fun. Very nice work here.

By my count, the points of the units who start on the board is 700:
170, Dr. Frank
100, Gretchen
60, Hazmat Protectors
90, Dr. Talbot
90, Test Subjects
190, Dr. Jekyll
And I made the door quite tough becuase I want the main way to get in to be "hacking" into it.
Thanks again!
