Try the trading forum on here. Since most people have multiple Master Sets, there are a lot of people on these forums with extra figures that will trade them off fairly cheap. Here's a link:

I have rarely found anything worthwhile on eBay, in terms of loose figures.

And its even worse in the trade thread....either no one responds to your list at all, or they offer you ludicrous trades, like the kid who wanted me to trade my EOVs for a couple RTFF trees.
