Better Army?

I need some experts opinions,which army sounds better if they faced off?

Valguard with 2 squads of Tarns (pretending theyre common)
or
Parmenio with 2 squads of the SB.

Anybody?

Parmenio and two squads of Sacred Band, because of bonding and the army will be a full disaplined army giving the Sacred Band a defense bonus.

While the other Valgaurd and Tarn has no Bonding, it really wouldn't stand up to well against the other army.

i'd have to agree. bonding is great, and even with the berserker charge bonus, i still think the tarns suck.

I used the SB's in a game today and they were surprisingly good!

The Sacred Band are underated. Death Defy is great

The Sacred Band are underated. Death Defy is greatIt is a great ability, it is just so danged hard to use and somewhat risky if there are area effect weapons.

I have yet to command a squad of the Sacred Band but I think a bonding squad like the SB would just be better.
