There is a lot of stuff below. Here are some other links to pictures of maps, gamedays, and other customs:

I am posting these two that I created in the late summer (2012), and I was looking a another thread today--which cause me to wonder why I never posted these. I have played about 8-12 games with each of these Dwarven units, and the Berserkers are extremely fun (I originally had them at 80 points, and later at 110, but that seemed too high)--similar to playing the MacDirks. The target zones on the Berserkers will also be edited later.

I really want to heavily revise or scrap the following customs from June 2011, but I am leaving them here for now as a reference.
Customs Posted 6/7/11:
They are vey unconventional, but I think they may be fun
Test Playing Reflection 6/25/2011: These are the 3rd version, I increased the defense of the projections and reduced the point cost of the actual unit cards by 20 points each--as a result of testing them against a 300 point 10th Regiment army(4 x 10th Reg.), and additional testing against a 300 point Roman army(4 x Legions + 1 x Marcus). Some more testing and tweaking is needed on these--perhaps July will allow more time.

CUSTOM CREATOR'S THAT INSPIRED ME TO RECREATE/USE THEIR CUSTOM CARDS AND FIGURES:
MOST RECENT ADDITION: Bee's Consul Dominicus. When Table Walker put on the "Unofficial Promo Contest" this summer, Bee entered the custom towards the end of the contest--
http://www.heroscapers.com/community/showthread.php?t=25207&page=6.
This is 1 of 2 customs that I liked so much that I decided to make my own. All I changed was the figure and the font of the figure's size:
http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u46/1moreheroscaper/ConsulDominicus.jpg
Annerios' SUDEMA'S ROYAL GUARD, I think this is a great custom card. Not only to it help an official unit, but it also features figures from an older board game that I already own. I modified the card for my collection because I wanted to use a different mummy figure for the second guard--from the HeroQuest board game, and I wanted to go with a slightly different paint scheme. This card would also inspire me to later create my SUDEMA'S CHAMPION custom figure and card. Original Custom card: http://img.inkfrog.com/pix/Annerios/Sudemas_Royal_Guard_Rev_4.JPG
http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u46/1moreheroscaper/SudemasRoyalGuardFinalCustomCard.jpg
Grungbob's HEAVY OMNICRON. <img src="http://www.heroscapers.com/community/gallery/files/4/heavy_omnicron.jpg (http://http://www.heroscapers.com/community/gallery/files/4/heavy_omnicron.jpg)" alt="Heavy Omnicron" /> A great addition to the Omnicrons. Grungebob's modified figure looks fricken awsome, and my figure is not even as close to the coolness, but nonetheless I created my own custom card with different stats and such from GB's card--which I can not seem to find anywhere.
http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u46/1moreheroscaper/OmnicronMissleSupportFinalCustom-1.jpg
The Praeotorian Guards from the Barraks, "were a collaboration by Euryon, Truth, and DrinkMoreGuinness. They are an interesting if fickle repaint of the Legionnaires." I simply recreated the card to feature my repainted figures, besides that I was am a creative poser--with this custom card in my collection. Original Custom card: http://www.heroscapers.com/oldgallery/albums/userpics/10002/Praetorian_Guards.jpg
http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u46/1moreheroscaper/PraetorianGuards2.jpg
Grungebob's TE-SHEQ-SA, great custom and theme addition for the Marro--before the Hive was released. I think I already had my figure painted before I saw the card, but the card was cool enough to use. I change the stats slightly because my miniature has a large sword. I used the Ezoghoul figure from the Mutant Chronicles board game by MATTEL--early 1990s. Grungebob's custom card: http://www.heroscapers.com/oldgallery/albums/userpics/10001/Te-Sheq-Sa_Marro_Queen.jpg (http://www.heroscapers.com/oldgallery/albums/userpics/10001/Te-Sheq-Sa_Marro_Queen.jpg)
http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u46/1moreheroscaper/SuKaShaFinalCustomCard.jpg
Grungbob's AGENT BALE. This is my rip-off card because I wanted the picture to match my figure with a Raelin fist, no highlights in her hair, and red boots instead of black--not because mine is better, I just did like how the hand look before it changed to Raelin's fist. Grungebob's card is part of the Barracks Thread: http://www.heroscapers.com/community/showthread.php?t=987

Hmm, not a bad effort. Follow Orders is a very thematic disadvantage. Numb From Rum is funny and useful. The weak spot seems to be Additional Pistol Attack, it's just adding way too much complexity to an already complex card for way too little payoff, IMHO.

Karkadinn,
Thank for the feedback. I agree there was a little too much something. I really wanted to capture how most pirates were experienced in double-handed combat, using the heavy butts of their pistols when it took too long to load the thing. I may end up dropping of the additional pistol attack...I'm looking forward to getting more ideas for tweaks.
Here is another option:

I really like the figures you modded and the card has some great potential. Why don't you make the Additional Pistol Attack something like this:
Pistol Whip
A Morgan's Boarding Party figure may make a second attack against any adjacent figure.
Nice job.

I kind of like the Pistol Whip idea. It captures the feel and it's simple. Like Karkadinn said, the Additional Pistol was too much for too little, but Pistol Whip...sweet. If I go with Pistol Whip: an additional adjacent attack, should I increase their range to 5?
Thanks for the feedback...I hope to get a little bit more if people don't mind, but two great suggections from the first two people!

So make their normal range 5 and they get a extra attack against adjacent figures? Sounds cool! Might want to raise their points a little to 65 or 70 since they can get an effective 2 attacks at 4 dice ea. I always try to consider height advantage and attack stat while figuring effective points since it is the easiest stat bonus to get.
Can you post a picture of the completed minis (not just the one in the card)? I would like to see them.
Thanks!

Also, a quick step guide to making this custom yourself. It took a couple hours from start to finish with the figures while watching T.V. I will be posting my Knights Templar custom soon--and there is no painting of mutilation required--I will be including a copy of the cut-out sticker template I used.
Anyways, the Pirates:
http://upload4.postimage.org/569537/morgansparty4withcomments.jpg (http://upload4.postimage.org/569537/photo_hosting.html)
CUTTING: Cut their arms off!!! But try to be precise with it & careful with a hobby knife. I also cut their sword hand to reposition it for hold a sword. The other cuts and glue is explained in the pic with comments.
PAINTING: I used 4 main colors. Brown, Black, Grey, and an off White(GamesWorkshop "Rotting Flesh"). I did add a little yellow beard to one of the figs, and some grubbiness to another fellow.
Why only 3? Well, two reasons. I had only 3 extra militia after I made my Brennan Shaw Militia Hero, and I thought this squad would be too powerful and off theme with 4. After all, they are pirates from a ship--not a militia organized and raised from another country or government.

I have worked on, and updated, many custom cards over this past year, but I haven't posted any of them. Taeblewalkers recent custom unique contest sparked my interest in posting again.
So here is my recent contest entry, but also two other characters that would compliment him. I could have gone with Conner instead of Duncan, but either way it's a MacLeod. I haven't make the modofied figures yet for the other two cards, but here are the states and special abilities. Taeblewalker thanks for the ideas on other Immortals and factions.
I would really appreciate any feedback and criticism on these characters, their base stats, and overall point cost for each. Thank you for your response in advance.

Are the experience markers immortal too?
Great question. I was actually thinking about that last night because I have come up with an idea for the 4th Immortal, and perhaps my last Immortal custom. I think all markers should be removed when or if a Immortal is brought back into the game by Immortal Healing. Otherwise, You could have a guy come back with 8 attack inside the enemies camp. Also, what would prevent a player from being suicidal all the time with such figures?
Thanks for the question S1R ARTOR1US.
Okay, I fixed the wording on Ramirez's and the Kurgan's card.

Great ideas. I really like Amanda (the card; don't get any funny ideas :p ).
I see how you made the Kurgan more powerful than Ramirez in terms of the Life Surge, but somehow I think that Ramirez's greater finesse should be matched to the Kurgan's greater power. Perhaps a greater Attack value for the Kurgan than Ramirez would work - perhaps make Ramirez's Attack 4, and then give him some finesse ability. I am thinking Deadly Strike though that's very powerful, and I am also thinking some kind of Melee Dodge power - perhaps Attack 4, Defense 4 and Melee Dodge would do the trick. That might be overpowering Ramirez, though - I am going for flavor and trying to respect balance here, and these are just some random thoughts off the top of my head.

I decided to play test Ramirez because I'm afraid that his new stats may be too powerful for the points. I have only done one play test with Ramirez's new stats and abilities, but here are the results:
400 point armies
110...ROTV Sgt. Drake
140...4th Mass x 2
70...Knights of Weston
80...Thorgrim
400...Total
VS.
140...Ramirez (Proxy with Tagawa Samurai without armor)
110...Valguard
100...IX Roman Legion x 2
50...Tarn Vikings
400...Total
I do understand that Ramirez's army had a disadvantage with range, but the map allowed for quick combat wihtin 2 turns for Valguard and the Romans. In the next playtest, I will put some range in Ramirez's army.
At first Valguard and the Romans charged the enemy, while the enemy sent the knights out too engage the Romans--to give the 4th Mass a few turns to take high ground.
Ramirez set out for battle at the end of the first round. He was able to avoid some damage with his Dodge 13 ability, but he did take 1 wound before he was able to engage any of the 4th Mass. Once he was enaged with the 4th Mass., Ramirez was able to cut through 2-3 4th Mass, over 1 round of three turns. His Dodge 13 helped a few times, but when he didn't dodge, he usually took 1-2 wounds--when the 4th Mass would use their Wait and Fire.
Against squad figures, Ramirez's Swordmaster ability was devestating when he did roll an initial 3 skulls. The most victorious moment was when Ramirez took out Sgt. Drake in one turn--Ramirez had height and rolled an initial 4 skulls, then he rolled 3 from his Swordmaster ability. After that turn Ramirez was taken out by 3 4th Mass. figures.
The battle waged on without Ramirez until there was only a unwounded Thorgrim and 2 4th Mass. vs. 3 Tarn Vikings.
On the 1st Tarn Vikings turn of the round, Ramirez was brought back to life(with no wounds) on a d-20 result of 20 by his Immortal Healing. Unfortunately, Ramirez had no order markers on him because, "who knew when he'd come back."
Ramirez avoided damage 2 times, during his round without order markers, but he did receive 2 wounds that round. The next round he was able to engage the last 2 figures of the 4th Mass, but he did not destroy either one of them. Actually, Ramirez experienced his second death to the rifles of the 4th Mass. by the end of that round.
In the end, there stood Throgrim--who suffered 1 wound, and 2 4th Mass. Line--who destroyed the last 2 Tarn Vikings.
Overall, an opponent should not allow Ramirez to have high ground because it increases his Swordmaster ability. As for what appears to keep Ramirez in check, he has no bonding ability--so a maximum on 1 attack per turn, and his Swordmaster ability is targeted for heroes--since it is just overkill on squad figures. Ramirez received his Swordmaster ability about 3 times in the battle.

http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u46/1moreheroscaper/SenthallasCustomFinal.jpg
Bio:
Senthallas was among the Greek soldiers that went to war against the city of Troy. His ship was part of the fleet led by the Greek hero, Odysseus, which was blown off course on their voyage home. Senthallass' ship did not follow Odysseus to the land of the Cyclops, instead they were forced to land on an isolated island after their ship was broken on its rocky shore.
For many years, the survivors of the wreckage were able to live on the island, due to the survival abilities of crew members such as Senthallas. Senthallas was a fisherman by trade before he was a soldier in the war against Troy. His ability to use both a net and a trident--to spear the fish, always resulted in the highest fish count each day, when the other fisherman would empty their nets on the shore.
Yet, eventhough Senthallas was a great provider on the island, many years of isolation from their true homeland drove many of his crew members into madness. On the night of his would-be murder, Aquilla summoned Senthallas to Valhalla for his great fishing ability.
Senthalass's arrival in Valhalla seems very strange because most Kyrie generals choose to summon heroes for the fighting abilities. Aquilla, on the other hand, seen the great potential for Senthallas because she is aware of a specific Valhallian fish that can immediately heal a wounded hero, when it is consumed. In order to help her army and its allies, Aquilla has passed this knowledge onto Senthallas, and has sent him into battle.

Anyway, to answer your question about the ability. You may choose to make Duncan a Human instead of an Immortal, so he could bond with either the Knights of Weston or the MacDirk Warriors. When he is an Immortal Champion he cannot bond with either squad. He's the kind of figure that you can run out and not worry too much if he dies early on because it only increases the number of times you can roll for his Immortal Healing. Yet, if you want him to be the MacDirk Warriors Human Champion, he can also heal himself if he kills an Utgar Hero. So, in short, he can be played at least two different ways.

:( Now I may need to change my paint scheme on my Highlander Amanda custom because she looks too much like Agent Skahen. That won't stop me from playing with the Skahen figure though...Honestly this HS figure was the best option I had for making a cool looking Amanda. My only other option was to use the Nakita sculpt that is holding her gun with both hands--which I think is the ugliest sculpt of all 3 Nakitas.

Yeah, I don't mind re-using existing powers, but sometimes it seems like a custom needs just a little more. I originally used the precision special ability with the Forest Guardians and the Elf Archers (their former names before Wave 4 came out), but later I removed it a placed it on the two heroes you commented on. Back then, I also I created the same ability for defense, which I called Dexterity, "when rolling defense dice you may re-roll 1 die."
Thanks again for the feedback.
By the way, do you have a custom card/unit thread? I remember you Viper hero from the last Custom Unique Hero Contest, but I think that's the only one I have seen; done by you.

1mHS, I really like the units you've designed (I looked at maybe half of them - you have a LOT ;)).
My :2cents:: The Evolved Marro Warriors are a great idea. Wouldn't it be fitting, though, if the evolution came about through water clone?
Something like:
Evolution: The Evolved Marro Warriors do not begin the game on the battlefield. They must be cloned from Marro Warrior units. When one of your Marro Warriors successfully clones a destroyed Marro Warrrior, you may choose instead to substitute an Evolved Marro Warrior for the newly-cloned figure.
This way, you've got a possible chance to clone every turn- you just have to clone 1 at a time. And its a little more in keeping with the Marro Warrior "thing." Like I said, just my two cents. Love your customs.

I see what your saying...I would have to see if that may make them too strong for the price though. Currently the Evolution only happens once--like The Drop by the Airborne Elite. I could change the special to be connected to water clone, but water clone does work for the Marro Warriors even when they are not on water. Also, a requirement of being on water could limit them for maps that may not have water--which I know is far a few.
Overall, thanks for the feedback...it's a good idea, and it's always good to re-think custom specials--in order to fine-tune them and enrich the theme of a card.

You could still stipulate that once an Evolved Marro Warrior is destroyed, it is permanently removed from the game and cannot be re-cloned. Once you have cloned all 4 Evolved Marro, any subsequent clones would just be regular Marro Warriors. Just my thought. You'll obviously figure out what works best.
How many of these customs have you actually had the chance to try out?
EDIT: And is Grey Agent 13 really a Doggin or was someone using Dund's card as a template? :)

I thought I would take the time to share with the community my latest custom creation. I can't claim all of the originality--my wife helped out some. This custom was finished early Thursday morning on 9/25/08. I present to you, 1morelittlescaper:

Nice work, 1MHS. Very realistic. Are you going to make a card for it or is it just a LoS blocker?

Hey, hey HEY!!!
Biggest of congratulations to you, 1More!
He's a handsome little guy!
That's fantastic! He's going to grow up playing some of the greatest HS scenarios ever created!
Well done to you and your wife.

Denny's, Spite, and Hex,
Thank you very much. I do think SHE will simply be a line of sight blocker for a little bit. Hex, don't worry I didn't state her gender in the original post. I think the last time I saw you I may have mentioned that my wife was pregnant, and we thought the baby was going to be a boy...so in short Hex, I won't sock you the next time I see you.

Congratulations 1more. You know, you'll probably still be raising her when Wave 38 comes out.
I wonder if they would be re-releasing older sculpts in the expansions a new units that are repaints by then?
If so, I could be going through my card catalog and explaining to her..."See Sweatheart, the new stealth omnicrons are really a repaint of the omnicron snipers--which came out 3 years before you were born--but these guys have a new special ability."

He was the figure left over after my first custom pirates. Fictional character taken from the movie, The Patriot. Slightly modified/reposed 4th Mass. Line figure.
I like the Templar card so much I'm going to ditch the one I made and use this one.
I've looked on-and-off for a good mini to make a custom Benjamin Martin. As I see it, the problem with using a 4th Mass is that in The Patriot, Martin's "signature" weapon was his tomahawk. Doesn't really seem like Martin without a tomahawk in hand and a tomahawk special.
How does his "Natural Leader" ability work? Do you get the +4 every round as long as he's alive, or only in rounds in which there's an order marker on his card?

Mossman,
First off, thanks for the support on the Knights Templar..once we got Righteous Smite with the cavalry it just seemed to be a must for these guys.
As for the other card, Ben Martin's Natural Leader applies to your initiative roll regardless if there is an order marker placed on his card. I really changes the way one might use him--you can either send him out to the front line for his PRECISE INFLUENCE, or you can keep him back in an attempt to always have the advantage of first player initiative.
As for the custom figure, I do agree a tomahawk would be a great addition to the figure, perhaps I can find one to add to him. I know in the movie Martin is most efficient with the tomahawk, but I also wanted to capture the image of him leading Continental Army soldiers--that's the aspect my custom figure is based on.

Thank you for the feedback. I find the cut and glue customs are fun because it makes you really try to visualize a different figure, as well as the different stances, before you start cutting. It's a great little mind excercise that is satifying when you can hold the finished figure.
As for your question--yes, I do have the Elite Onyx Vipers.

Here are the pre-card pics of my new Orkin Custom figs. I used Warhammer Orcs and called them Orkin or Orc-Kin because of their size differences and facial differences. I don't want to use GW's terms of Black Orcs or Big Uns. I plan on the Flagbearer having a 20-sided die special that would allow all of the figures you control to be affected for an entire round.
My new customs will be: Orkin Warriors (3 fig. 110 pt. Common Squad), Orkin Berzerkers (2 fig. 110 pt. Unique Squad), Orkinlord (120 pt. Unique Hero), Orkin Champion Flagbearer (100 pt. Unique Hero), and Orkin Champion Drummer (90 pt. Unique Hero). The Berzerkers we directly inspired by Barbell Hero's Tribal Orc Berzerkers: http://www.heroscapers.com/community...639#post550639 (http://www.heroscapers.com/community...639#post550639)

That's an interesting reverse-bonding ability you have with Grung. And the Valkyrie Banner is cool too, I like not having to use a marker on him in order to get the bonus.
Lurg and Kor seem a bit expensive, but that may just be me.

Sir Artorius,
Thanks for the feedback. Your right about Lurg & Kor, I want to play test them some more. I just imagined what they would be like if they have Finn and Thorgrim's Spirit, how easy would they be killing squad figures, and then a 13+ for Blood Frenzy if their in Brotherhood range of one another. I was originally thinking 90-100, but I went with the 110...maybe more play testing will do justice.
Again, I really appreciate the comments, they help redirect me in the uncertain areas. Maybe we can play a casual game with some of our customs--in the gaming group, such as your Viper hero, if we have time as the next gameday. I know Ronin had some cool customs too.

There has been a little talk about the community creating its own fan inspired promo for 2009. Here is my idea, a quick and easy repaint of a ROTV figure that can help out the Roman Archers--who get left out of too many games. This can also be in honor of the re-release of Wave 1.
http://i165.photobucket.com/albums/u46/1moreheroscaper/ArchimedeswithWingsCard.jpg
I did a rough-draft of this figure's stats, as well as painted him in Feb/March, RoninValentina may remember me talk about him at one of our game days. My first version of Archimedes does not have the winged helm. Ronin, I haven't forgot about the Roman Standard Bearer either--Summer will provided me with more time to customize that figure for you.

I can't remmeber if it was all water or just swamp water. I know swamp water is more related to the original Drudge. The thing that I had to tweak was their bonding. Looking at it know I would specifiy SWAMP WATER STRENGTH. two reasons, precedence and theme. Precedence due to the original Drudge unit, and theme because it would be easier to blend in and be shadow-like in murky water versus clearer-blue water.

Created, but not yet play-tested--on 6/7/10. I originally bought these figures in order to have some copies of other customs made by some older members, but then I decided to make my own incarnation too. I know I need to fix the wording for the Psychic Projections special on Elydia's card.
I had a chance to quickly play-test these cards, and I had my first major fix to the Azruk Projections. Originally I had them as unaffected by enemy figures--they were just illussions in that regards, the major problem was that they still kept the enemy figures engaged with leaving engagement as a suicide move, so Elydia could stand back and just attack with range. My initial play test was 4 squads of 10th Reg. vs. Elydia, Azruk Warriors, Tonen Swiftblade, and 2 sets of Azruk Projections on the field (which are zero points). At the end of the testing, it was Elydia with one life remaining, 2 Azruk Projections and one 10th reg. figure.

Stopping by to drop some comments. My my, you are prolific! I suggest removing all (or most) of the pictures and just putting links to them so the page loads faster and doesn't use so much memory and bandwidth.
Elydia
I like the concept here of someone creating projections. It isn't clear to me if you can use Projection Movement and Projection Attack in the same turn... I assume not since they both replace attacking (you should use the same "instead of attacking" terminology in both). I'm not sure the bit about sacrificing Projections to protect Elydia from wounds really adds to the design. I would suggest removing that aspect and rebalancing, but that's up to you. Projection Attack is crazy good, though since (I assume) they can't move and attack in the same turn it's not too strong.
Small suggestion: change "Psychic Projections Master" to simply Psychic Projections". Spelling error in Psychic Projections Master: "nonrmal" -> "normal".
Azruk Warriors
Love the concept here; love the interaction between them and Elydia. I really can't picture how these guys will play. The interaction with projections opens up a lot of possibilities, but I just don't know how often Psychic Transposition will come into play. Playtesting will tell.
The 4/6 stats scare me, but they are just a 2-figure squad for 70pts. Probably ok. Again, playtesting.
Azruk Projections
I question if making the projections destructible objects is really the way to go... It works the way you have them designed, but I think you'll have less trouble with corner cases if they were normal figures. Of course you'll have to add something (probably to Psychic Source) about them not starting on the battlefield normally, and if you want to keep the same theme you could change Leaving Engagement Strike to a power that says you may not place order markers on their army card.
If you keep things as they are, Leaving Engagement Strike has lots of technical problems. Nothing is ever engaged with destructible objects; only figures. Also, it is not clear what it means to roll one attack dice. Does it do damage on a skull? Can the other guy roll defense?
Tonen Swiftblade
A decent hero figure, though with only a single attack I don't see her as being all that useful in an Azruk army. I would rather take a turn with the Warriors and get two attacks of 4 instead of a single attack of 5. Still, a decent assassin design.
Azruk Courage has a problem though. Projections are destructible objects, which are not controlled by any player. So the "you control" part doesn't work for them.
Coltec
Immortal Healing is a cool way of representing the Highlander universe in 'Scape. Kudos. Overall an interesting figure, though the Tribesman class doesn't feel like a great fit. But then my Highlander knowledge isn't the greatest.
Hercan
One of the better "hero guardian" customs I've seen. Simple, moderately effective, and the Ambitious personality is a nice touch. Still, I worry about giving powerful heroes like Q9 an additional boost. Against melee armies he'll work both as a screen and an extra attack. There is some danger putting order markers on him, though, as he won't live forever.
Asterion
Does Asterion start on the battlefield? If so, does he still give his Leadership bonus when not on the battlefield? Do you still roll for the glyph if Asterion is on the battlefield (and teleport him)? What if there is no place to put him once summoned? Unique squads cannot hold treasure glyphs, does the Horn of Asterion break that rule? If a hero drops the Horn of Asterion and another treasure glyph and chooses to destroy the Horn, what happens to Asterion?
Rittle the Halfing Scout
Neat, but I do see him worth the points. The re-roll certainly counts for a lot though. I think the unit would be better without Tactical Advantage; it isn't a great thematic fit for the rest of the unit and drives up his cost severely. Without that he'd make an interesting cheap filler unit (50pts?). He'd need Climb or Scale instead then.
Forest Cover should be worded like the Dzu-Teh's Glacier Camouflage. Forest & Jungle Movement should be worded like the Quasatch Hunters' Jungle Tracking. Tactical Advantage should say it re-rolls an attack die and a defense die.
Korbaal the Temple Guard
Neat concept, well-balanced stats. Is Utgar Guard Command optional? It should have a "may" or "must" to make it clear. Also, the way Utgar Guard Command is worded it has the problem of turn stacking -- the Guard unit is taking its turn while Korbaal's turn is still active. This can cause odd problems with duration of turn and once per turn effects. With a little wording change this can be fixed:
Utgar Guard Command
When revealing an order marker on Korbaal, after taking Korbaal's turn, if Korbaal did not attack you may roll the 20-sided die. If you roll a 7 or higher, you may take a turn with one Guard Hero or Guard Squad you control that follows Utgar.
Gargork the Orkinlord
Any relation to the Orkin Man? :) Quite a brute this guy. The interaction between the three powers is overly complex. You would be better off changing the three powers into a single special attack that does the same thing.
Siege Catapult
The way Catapult Special Attack is written only one of the operating figures needs to give up its attack to operate the catapult (the wording "either figure"). It isn't stated what the catapult attacks if used correctly (though it is implied).
I understand what you're doing with the movement, but there are lots of problematic corner cases. One obvious one is what happens if one of the moving figures dies while moving (for example, from a leaving engagment strike)? The catapult has already moved, but the condition for its moving is not met.
"INATIMATE" -> "INANIMATE"
Field Cannon
Same as above.
Reconnaissance Specialists
Forget using the Grenade -- this is one of the most powerful squads I've ever seen. Four figures, attack 3, range 8? Plus a potential bonus attack against non-adjacent? And a bonus defense against range? I don't think anything in the game can come close to defeating them on a point-for-point basis. Heck, I don't think 150pts is too cheap. Just stay as far away as possible and shoot away. Add in Rats and they'll annihilate stuff.
Starshina Maksim Anton (v1)
Interesting name... is it a reference to something? All around decent, but I fear outshined by his Drake cousin. Depends on the matchup though; Starshina is obviously better against melee.
Starshina Maksim Anton (v2)
This one may be better than his Drake counterpart, partly because of the reduced price, and partly because Improved Grapple Gun helps him a lot for getting into melee range.
Vladamir Esenwein
Scroll of the undead is a pretty cool concept. Limited, though, in usefulness due to targeting specific units. It would be neater if it could revive any Undead Squad figure, or even better any Undead Common figure. I wouldn't worry too much about the relative power between the different commons; there aren't any crazy-powerful common undead.
Black Bane the Pirate Lord
Pirate! Undead Pirate! Another pretty interesting design. Eternal Impressment should probably say it destroys the targeted figure to deal with corner cases.
Black Bane's Guard
I really like the interaction between the Guards and Blackbane. I really don't think Black Bane's Influence is needed though; it seems like an unnecessary complication. Though if they were weak, like 3/3s outside his aura and +2/+2 within, that would really make them unique.
Black Bane's Wraiths
I feel like you want too far here. Black Bane is already really interesting with his Guards; another squad only related by bonding seems out of character and overkill.
Kordane
Interesting design; I like the combination of hurting himself to deal more damage and a healing power. My gut tells me he's overpriced. Even if he can through a lot of potential dice at range, it comes at a price and only targets one figure. The healing, of course, fixes some of that, but that comes at a price too. When you add the price of the squaddies -- which also need to be positioned -- to Kordane's 150pts you're throwing a lot of points into a single attacker.
D'Khul Brinebroon
Sweet name. Is there a reason he's a Bathalian? It creates an odd pseudo-bonding loop. A Mind Flayer Mastermind you control could move, attack, and Enslave D'Khul (yes, you can Enslave your own units), who then makes that Mind Flayer Mastermind move. Simply making D'Khul a Mind Flayer solves that.
Ko-Mudo the Lizardon Mage
Curious that he's a Lizardon instead of a Lizardfolk; he misses out on Lizard King Bonding. The only problem I have is the condition on Curse of Doom for when the hero with the marker is "activated". "Activated" is not a defined Heroscape term, so it's not clear what it means in this context. If he gets moved by Movement Bonding or some similar power, is that an "activation"? Making it "before that hero takes a turn", or clearer, after taking a turn would take care of it.
Ko-Mudo the Swamp Skink
Interesting transformation interaction. Though the Skink version is pretty crappy; probably not even worth drafting. He's not worth drafting to transform when the Mage is almost dead, though it may be worth using the Skink for the speed boost.
Captain Marsen
Pirate Enhancement should be called Pirate Supremacy, and should follow the wording of Su-Bak-Na's Hive Supremacy. I understand what "passing the wounds" means in Save Yer Captain, but it's not very Heroscapy language. "You may instead assign those wounds..." or something would be better. Join the Crew is thematic, but I fear useless in most games.
Lillian Marsen
I suspect she's underpriced, despite the weak Life/Defense. Distraction is a very potent ability, crushing to some melee armies. Pair her with Raelin and see how hard it is for melee squads to fight them.
Ox Brimmer
Gather the booty is really interesting, but I don't think it works with all glyphs. Wannok is an example. Now that Treasure Glyphs exist I suggest redesigning the unit with those instead. Bag of Loot is a really neat, thematic mechanic.
Marsen's Finest
Nice job of making a pirate squad. In Follow Orders, "immediately end your turn" doesn't make sense since the roll happens "Before taking a turn". I think with Sword and Pistol you instead for the second attack to be a normal attack (at range with the pistol), but the second attack must be the second attack as well (see Kaemon Awa's Quick Release for precedent). You could change it so it's not a special attack: "after attacking an adjacent figure, a Marsen's Finest may attack one additional time". Numb from Rum has a bit of a no-no with its memory mechanic. I would suggest either using Rum Markers on the army card like the Mezzodemons, or just forget the markers and roll for Numb every time -- I don't think it would be overpowered (though you may want to increase the target number).
Marsen's Boarding Party
Many of my comments above apply here as well. I am a bit concerned about the bonding, since many of your heroes can move other pirates as well. Playtesting will tell you if it's too strong.
Ravenok
Neat idea, taking Tornak off his mount. Uncertain Mount could probably follow Carry's wording more closely, but it's a fun concept. Rapid Movement could be worded: "You may add 5 to Ravenok's Move number this turn. If you do, Ravenok may not attack."
Hayato
Kind of neat. Nothing too special, and might provide another way to play Ashigaru instead of Kato. It's worth noting, however, that samurai-like characters in Heroscape use both family and given names. Yes, Ronin are masterless samurai, but family names are not something easily abandoned in that culture; they would keep the family name.
Senthallass
I chuckled a little when I read through the card. Thematic in a fun way. Super hard to set up to heal other heroes though, unless you're on a swamp map.
Beligar
I know he's expensive, but that aura is crazy powerful. Overly powerful with Protectors of Ullar, I suspect. Shield of Redemption is neat, but too specific to be useful; Gladiator heroes are somewhat expensive already and would rather have two sets of Capuans with them.
Lorenzo Arcadius
Appears to be a more generically useful Parmenio, but still not as good as Marcus. Actually, with his lower Life, he's not nearly as good as Marcus.
Archimedes
I appreciate the simplicity of the design and the Roman Archer boost, but I feel theme is lacking. He's an Inventor; I'd like to see that come out in the powers. Roman Archer Enhancement kind of does that, but at least the name needs to change to make it more thematic.
Olkin
Love the simplicity. This guy is a real brute, probably better than Crixus, though close. Really nasty with Spartacus.
Tia Lee
Is she supposed to be Japanese? I don't think the names Tia or Lee are Japanese names. Ninjas in Heroscape have only one name for some reason anyway.
She's a pretty frightening assassin. Probably not too much so, given the Life of 2. Really good at hunting down range figures. I like that.
Rikio the Samurai Titan
Not sure that Rikio is a Japanese name either, but it might be. Dang this guy is brutish.
As for Samurai Command 7, see my entry above for Korbaal the Temple Guard.
Elite Syrian Archers
Roman Archers are bad, but these guys are worse. Obviously Coordinated Attack is powerful, but unreliable. Otherwise they are Roman Archers except a little more movement and range and -- the biggie -- they are Unique. Being Unique is normally a disadvantage, but all the more so for Arrow Volley. At one Defense, you won't get much out of 75pts.
Dreadgull Beserkers
Not sure what to think of these guys. I suspect they're pretty strong. It's very strange having Life points on a squad, but the Dreadgull Brotherhood power is clear. If you imagine them as a hero with 4 life, 5/4, double attack, and bonding, they're probably too strong.
Amanda
Like Coltec, I like how Immortals are represented.
Connor Macleod
The Prize is interesting, though I don't think he's worth the points as a Human.
Knights Templar
Nice-looking mods. I'm not sure I get the theme behind Templar Pride wounding the Champion. Wounded pride I take it? It's a decent squad, but overpriced. Knights of Weston are almost as good stat-wise (little slower), have consistent bonding, and are common, and cost 30pts less.
Arik the Tarn Viking
One big problem with this guy: there are no Viking army cards.
Commander Benjamin Martin
Precise Influence is too good. He's Valiant, so he fits with 4th Mass, and he gives them a re-roll. A re-roll of a dice is almost as good as an extra attack dice, so height + WTF + Ben Martin is basically 5 attack dice. The 4th are nasty enough already.
South Carolina Irregulars
At the price point, these guys are as brutal as the 4th Mass. Perhaps better since they do not require no movement to boost their attack.
Commander A-7
This guy has some nasty punch, but his Life/Defense and price keep him in check. See my entry for Korbaal the Temple Guard for how you can fix Soulborg Command 7.
Commander A-8
Awesome-looking mod. Again, very powerful, but will fall easily. See previous comment about Soulborg Command.
Alphacron 17
Simple, effective.
Deltacron Snipers
I doubt I would ever take this squad over another squad of Omincron Snipers. Not only do they cost more, but they require complicated order marker management to get the most out of their defense bonus, and being unique they suffer terribly from losing a single figure.
Omnicron Missile Support
A neat concept, especially Maintain Support. The problem is order marker management. It's too hard to predict when your opponent will bunch together to make Deadly Explosion worthwhile. Even without height I'd almost always rather activate the safer Omnicron Snipers. Might work with the Commanders.
Meridian Guards
Kinda creepy, with the heads stuck on those bodies. Again, I appreciate the simple design. However, these guys will probably never be worth an order marker due to their pitiful attack.
White Wolf Cyborgs
There are problems with Beserker Charge and Commons. You need to reword it so that only the figures that moved the first time can move again. Otherwise decent, but overpriced. They're pretty average and have no bonding.
Cyber Tactician 7000
Yikes. Pair him with Raelin and Q9, and Q9 will be nigh unbeatable. Way too useful for 30pts. Remember, two re-rolls is almost as good as rolling two additional dice. He's like a 30pt Raelin for Soulborgs. And Common.
Achilles the Cyborg
Kinda neat, somewhat useful. Decent filler hero.
Stalward the Cyborg
Crushing Cyber-Claw is pretty cool. I'm never much of a fan of anti-melee/weak to range units, but this guy is pretty solid.
Maximus the Cyborg Champion
See my entry for Korbaal the Temple Guard to fix the Cyborg Command wording. A bit puny for a Champion, but that doesn't bother me much.
Feylund Tundra Wolves
Are these supposed to be repainted white? I'm pretty sure these guys are overpriced, outside of a snow map anyway. They're fact, but they don't pack much punch for 90pts. Yes, they have Pack Attack, but if you surround a single opponent you often lose attacks because you kill that one. Seeing as how they also need Dzu-Teh to go with them, 90pts is just too much.
Hideyoshi
Like your other Ronin, he needs a family name. Another figure that might make use of Ashigaru. However, I have to wonder why your Ronin are leading troops. If they've become ronin they've already lost their leadership role.
Sartys
Really nice 70pt filler hero. Couple minor comments. I'd prefer you rename Melee Attack to something else, to follow the example set by Tandros: +1 Longsword or something similar. Also, Forest Cover should use the wording from the Dzu-Teh's Glacier Camouflage.
Aubrien Forest Guardians
Horn of Beast Control needs to add the language of Mind Shackle and similar take-control powers, like the part about removing order markers from the army card. Also, Horn of Beast Control would not work with any Common Beasts; you should probably restrict to Uniques. Regardless, that power seems like a lot of words for a rare sitation.. is it worth it? See above comment about Forest Cover.
Aubrien Elite Archers
Not sure what I think about this squad... bonding on a ranged squad is dangerous business. But they are Unique, so that greatly limits their potential. Probably interesting to play. See above comment about Forest Cover.
Lokin the Wild
Interesting. Simple design, but has some interesting potential synergies. Wild Leadership needs to be reworded though. "wild figures" doesn't work; see Otonashi's Attack the Wild to see how personalities are referenced.
Lithia of Ashra
I suspect you created this custom before Treasure Glyphs existed. Making the Amulet of Fortune into a Treasure Glyph and having her start with it would make the Amulet of Fortune power much simpler. Poison Tip Blades could be reworded slightly to match the Deepwyrm Drow's Poison Weapons. Otherwise, a decent little 30pter.
Ullar's Elite Guardians
Stealth Flying ranged squad? Even if they're unique, that's too powerful in my opinion. 7 Range makes it worse. They will be untouchable run-and-gun figures in the endgame against melee figures.
Onyx Viper King
Onyx Viper Mind should be reworded; one cannot take a turn with individual figures of a squad. Change it to "you may take a turn with a squad of Elite Onyx Vipers you control". Also Evassive is misspelled. A brutish guy, though I'm not sure he's worth 170pts. He is better than the Venoc Warlord in stats, but he lack the sweet enhancements the Warlord gives.
Rugio the Titan Monk
Interesting unit... I'm not sure how useful Mediation is though. Spending entire turns to heal is almost never worth it -- that's why Kelda sucks. I do like the theme though. See my entry for Korbaal the Temple Guard for rewording Monk Command.
Yoshirou
My comments on your other Ronin apply here.
Black Heart Cyborgs
I like the design, simple, thematic. I doubt they'll be worth the price, though. 80pts is high for a non-bonding melee squad of speed 5. They do have Frenzy, but I doubt that will make up for it. Playtest them against some ranged teams. Rats in particular will completely shut these guys down.
Cyber Tactician 6000
Way too nasty. As I've said before, a re-roll is almost as good as an extra dice. For Omnicron Snipers he's basically a 30pt Taelord.
Dark Claw the Cyborg
A decent 60pt filler figure, especially for Frenzy armies. Might be too good for Frenzy armies, actually, but hard to tell.
Colossor the Cyborg
Decent design, though probably not worth the points. 120pts is a sweet spot with Krug, Kaemon Awa, and the Fen Hydra; I don't see this guy competing with them. The way Momentum is written, Colossor can get bonus attack for circling around an engaged figure. Is that intended?
Bruticus the Cyborg Champion
Not a bad way to spend 100pts in a Cyborg army. See my entry for Korbaal the Temple Guard for how to fix Cyborg Command.
Hymar's Samurai Wraiths
Ghostly Movement seems like it opens up some problematic corner cases, but I can't think of any. "Undeads" should be "Undead". Is there a reason they are Wraiths instead of Samurai? Samurai does give them some curious synergies like Kato; maybe you were trying to avoid that. Though it would be neat if they were immune to the Samurai's Counter Strike.
Hymar's Viking Wraiths
See above.
Alpha 9000 Deathwalker
Interesting. With a Rat screen he'd be nigh unbeatable to melee armies. You don't technically need any of that text in Heavy Fire Special Attack; a unit cannot use both a regular attack and a special attack in the same turn, and unless otherwise stated attacks always need line of sight.
Zettian Sentry
Nice pairing with the Zettian Guards, except there is no such thing as a "zettian squad".
Nilear the Kyrie Warrior
An interesting anti-Raelin, though possibly overpriced.
Tae-Carr the Kyrie Hybrid
The child of Carr and Raelin? I don't want to know how that pairing happened... Range + Stealth Flying is really nasty in endgame, but low attack and low Life/Defense holds him back.
Taejinn the Kyrie Warrior
Why Double Melee instead of Double Attack? Should be the same here. Pretty strong for 110pts... with Flying he might be worth 120pts as a beat stick.
Krukar the Darklord
Inspired idea, turning a modified Dumutef into a Darklord. Curiously Blood Howl actually works ok with Common cards, though it's complicated how it does. Again, see my entry for Korbaal the Temple Guard for fixing Dumutef Command.
Anubian Shadow Wolves
Neat design! Evasive is misspelled.
Drone Champion
Not a bad way to make a Marro Drone leader, though I'm not sure he's worth putting an order marker on over Drones. The aura is nice, but I'd rather just press the attack with Drones.
Nu-Mok-Ra
A decent design, and a good-looking mini.
Evolved Marro Warriors
Interesting concept here. I like how it works out any it may be a good use of 50pts, especially if the Marro Warriors are meant for cleanup. "Marros" should be "Marro".
Hawthorne's Dark Knights
A little on the costly side when compared to Knights of Weston since they a Unique Squad. Pretty good design overall, though I don't think they need Dark Oath. Relentless Army Attack Bonus already gives them an attack boost.
Moltarn Lord
Obsidian Guard Movement needs to specify how many spaces those figures can move. Is there a reason Burning Touch does not affect Soulborgs? They burn in lava like anything else. I would suggest changing "Soulborgs" to "figures with the Lava Resistant special power", like the Fire Elemental's Searing Intensity. "Resistence" should be "Resistent".
Destro
"affectly" should be "affected". This has the same complaint I had before that he is basically a cheaper, more effective Taelord, though with a smaller aura. A re-roll is almost as good as a bonus dice.
Death Hunter 515
"attitional" should be "additional". Stunning Strike could be reworded to match the Master of the Hunt's Mortal Strike, or even just use that power. Otherwise a decent assassin figure that synergizes well with the C3V's M-43s.
Gahiji the Anubian Wolf
Not sure if I would ever use him until cleanup; just leave him in the starting zone for the movement boost. Which means that I'd never use Anubian Movement Bonding. Change "hunter class" to "Hunters".
Khenti the Anubian Wolf
Alpha Wolf Rage seems overly complicated, though part of that is that I don't understand what all the terminology is. By "move to the space" do you mean replace? It would be clearer to say "destroy one Anubian Wolf within 6 clear sight spaces of Khenti if possible and place Khenti on the space that figure occupied". There is also no such thing as an "Anubian Pack Leader" -- just use "Pack Leader". Remove the last sentence.
Bomanji the Anubian Wolf
Unlike Gahiji, I would consider using this guy early. Though 5 attack is probably too good for such a cheap unit.
Gravelord of Morindan
Change "you control and is" to "you control that is". I don't think I would put any order markers on him until my Zombies were all dead, but the pseudo-Movement Bonding plus the powerful reroll is very good for the Zombies. Maybe too much so since their poor attack is one of the Zombies' greatest weaknesses; playtesting will tell.
Karrak the Orkinlord
Good design overall. I especially like Limited Disengage.
Grung the Champion
Orkin Movement has some problems. It doesn't work to say "1 Orkin squad", you need to specify the number of figures. You missed a "move" in there as well. Blood Drum is really powerful; it's a big bonus (an extra attack dice, essentially) over a huge area (6 spaces).
Targ the Champion
Pretty good leader figure. His aura is as powerful as Raelin's and covers a much wider area, plus he gives a movement boost. Which leads me to think he's possibly underpriced, though he only helps specific melee figures.
Orkin Warriors
Not sure what to think... probably overpriced. A slow-moving melee squad with 3 figures and 3 defense won't live long. The powerful attack is very nice, but they won't get to use it often.
Lurg & Kor
Can both figures use Axe Special Attack? Can one use that and the other attack normally? That should be clarified. Otherwise, fun design, though with that base attack value I suspect they are overpowered.
Gorrak the War Elder
Elder War Wisdom is probably too powerful with Ornak's Red Flag of Fury Aura; once could activate Gorrak to instead activate an Orc squad which bonds with a hero, plus have another activation. At least add the "After revealing an order marker" language. Elder War Wisdom is quite powerful, giving order marker freedom to orcs, though one usually does not mix different types of orc squads in an army.
Zettian Crawler 2000
Your designs around this point value tend to be your best designs. This one is no exception.
Grey Agent 9
Nice design, though there is no such thing as a "Grey Agent". You need some other way of distinguishing them; maybe give them Grey Agent as the class instead of Agent. Anyway, I do like psuedo-squads, and a pseduo-squad of uniques is a fun concept.
Grey Agent 13
I don't think it works to have two figures with Assigned Target. If you have both in your army, how do you remember which Grey Agent is assigned to which target?
Grey Agent 86
See above.
Grey Agent 45
See above.
Grey Agent 66
See above, and see my entry for Korbaal the Temple Guard.
Thorvald the Sniper
I like how the single unit is represented by two different figures. Though Change Position would be a lot simpler if it happened instead of moving normally.
Project 2RA Warriors
"Undeads" should be "Undead". "Radiactive" should be "Radioactive". That's some really high damage output for 80pts, but being Unique might be enough to make up for that.
Sudema's Champion
Sword of the Undead is overly limiting and a bit complicated due to spelling out the specific cards. I think you'd be better off simply saying "you may, if possible, replace Sudema's Champion with one of your previously-destroyed Common undead figures". But even with the powers, I suspect he's overpriced. You don't get much of an attack for an order marker for 120pts.
Lodin the Kyrie Warrior
Hmm. I see you went with a high cost, as giving a +1 to all d20 rolls can be powerful with some units. Put 180pts is still probably much too high. I do like how you named the figure.
Iron Man Silver Sentinel
Fast and tough, but not as good as the similarly-priced Iron Man.

Scytale
Thank you for all of the well thought and considerate comments. Though the newest of these customs are 1 year old (and the last ones I am more disappointed in after I play-tested them about 1 year ago), and most are 4-6 years old, you are absolutely right with nearly all of your comments. I really need to update many of these, especially considering the official figures that followed. For example, I created my elf archer squads before the Aubrien archers were released.
Regardless of the age of some of these customs, I really apprciate your comments. I think many of your suggestions will make most of these units better. Now I need to pull up those old files, and recreate these in a new program, since Heroscape Card Catalog didn't allow me to fix things such as "undeads" instead of just "undead." I remember when I created the wraiths, before we had any undead units in the official game, Heroscape Card Catalog always turned it to plural when I clicked the box for squad.
Again, I appreciate all the time you put into critically reading the cards, and then providing excellent considerations and criticism. It means a lot to me, especially since I respect your customs card so much!

Happy to help; I just wish I'd gotten to it all sooner. Takes a lot of time and energy though.
For a card creation program, I highly recommend MSE. I couldn't live without it.

Stopping by to drop some comments. My my, you are prolific! I suggest removing all (or most) of the pictures and just putting links to them so the page loads faster and doesn't use so much memory and bandwidth.
Senthallass
I chuckled a little when I read through the card. Thematic in a fun way. Super hard to set up to heal other heroes though, unless you're on a swamp map.
He was always a tough play to use his healing special. I considered knocking him down to 40 points, but then his is still a decent filler unit for 40 points.
His healing special is pretty funny with the wording, almost like a card from the Munchkin card game. I could have added some lines such as, "...sing a little tune, and remove a Wound Marker from one of your Army Cards and place it on an opponent's Army Card, unless it is the third Saturday of the month, or if it is a national or religious holiday. If it is a national holiday, call a truce and the game ends immediately as a tie. If it is a religious holiday, rip Senthallass's card into two equal halves, and give one half to an opponent as a peace offering."
I am actually considering changing his fishing/healing ability to fish without being adjacent to a friendly figure. So he could catch up to 3 fish markers, and then automatically heal an adjacent figure, or himself, instead of attacking by removing one fish marker for each wound that he heals.

Posting two Dwarven units I created this past summer (2012). Silver_Guys custom thread (6/6/12) posting, with his custom Dwarven units, reminded me that I worked on some too. I have not been playing with many of my own customs recently due to using official pieces for tournaments, or when doing C3V play-testing.
I think the Berserkers are close to a balanced cost based on the dozen tests that I have done with them. As for the Defenders, I would like to play test them a half dozen more times.

Both designs are really good. Burning Forge Berserkers is a clever way to represent a berserking squad ... they just won't stop. They are going to have trouble if your d20 isn't hot, but if your d20 is hot--look out. They would probably be a blast to play. Berserker's revenge could probably omit the phrase "up to a maximum of 3 Berserkers". The limit is covered by the last sentence in that power.
The Defenders look powerful yet weak at the same time. They'll consistently activate 4 figures, and sometimes you'll get 6 but other times only 2. That 2-figure activation could come at a critical moment, ruining your plans. 2 defense (doubled shields) is risky too. Raelin is a necessity for these dwarves. I'm a little worried that 80 points may be too cheap for a 4/4 4-figure squad (which is what they are, kind of). They'll definitely be a swingy unit for sure.
Very fun designs! I need to check out your other customs.

There are a lot of fixes to my old cards that I would like to do when I have more time. Scytale offered a lot of great suggestions, which I am very thankful for, and I believe I will take his advice in most areas.
The big issue with a lot of my older customs (which I have more that are not actually posted), is the wording. In the past I tried to create cards that used close to official wording, but some of the cards predated some very common official powers and units. So, my older powers need to be aligned with all existing official powers, units, and abilities, and otherwise need to have mis-types cleaned-up. Most of my customs were created between Spring 2005 to Fall 2008.

Thanks for the feedback. I made the fix to the Berserkers that you suggested. I think you are absolutely right about the Defenders, their point cost needs to be calibrated. Maybe only increased by 5-10 points, but only more testing will tell.
The thing I like most about the Defenders is the back-story that I created for them. The Lost Forge became the name of a small territory that was isolated after the last Great War in the Dwarven Homelands. These dwarves, had to re-build their own society, once they were cut-off from all of the other Dwarven territories. I had another name for these guys, Kinsmen of the Lost Forge, which I may revert back to--if so, their class will also be Kinsmen.

Excellent work here as usual. One question I have is regarding the necessity of the + symbol in the Berserker's Revenge special power. I know it's personal preference but I'm not a fan of mathematical symbols on the cards.
Go ahead, tell the nitpicky Helm to shut up and get out of your thread.

There you go, making me think about a good point, that I can't just ignore. I see your point, but I am also trying to stick to the wording found on the Capuan Gladiators for boosting a 20-sided die result. With this in mind, I should have not included the first +. So, I do need to fix that at a minimum.
-It's also nice to see you are still coming to the site...see more of my comments in your Havok thread.

Just a quick notr of a typo in you black bane wraiths & guards. In the left box of both you put Undeads. It should just say Undead.

Thanks. I need to fix a lot of those. The old Heroscape Card Catalog (custom card making program), always turned a squad's race to plural when a person change the number from 1 figure to more than 1.. I should have figured the point cost for the card, and then changed the number of figures back to 1.
Thanks again for the edit catch.
