I was at Wally World yesterday and I was talking to one of the managers. I have been bugging them to discount RTTFF due to I already have far to many and I could not possibly use another unless it went on sale, say half maybe :wink: Anyways she told me that the night of Aug 13th is when Wal-Marts roll there stock for the Christmas season. What does this mean. Anythign that Wal-Mart does not plan on carrying straight through the holidays gets pushed into the discount shelves. I asked if this was Wal-MArts all over and she replied she thought it was. They will work on moving stuff on the night of AUG 13th, on Aug 14th I will be there at sun up. Last time my local Walmart did this rollover I got 6 EOV Master sets for 30$. Good luck and happy hunting pilgrims 8)

um no, i doesn't sound like it based on what skynight said. they will be moving a product they CURRENTLY sell to the discount shelves IF they don't plan to carry that product past christmas. that's the way i read it.

Correct Gary, what you need to be looking for guys is all of those extra RTTFFs and other multiple sets hitting the shelves in the discount section. I do not believe the Master sets will be moved either. My store also has a buku of Orm's. If they go cheap I will grab them for customs.

Any Walmart or Target clearances are VERY "Your Mileage May Vary" - in fact most Walmarts don;t discount HS hardly at all. (Their) Retail Price for almost 2 years and counting....

I think it depends on the store manager. Heck, I went to a Wal-mart in the middle of nowhere about a month ago and they had their shelves stocked from of EoV Master sets. They had a red tag on the shelf, but the price was was still almost $40. It looks like they had intentions of putting it on clearance, but never followed up to do so. I can go to three different Wal-marts within a fifty mile radius and get three different prices for the Heroscape master sets.

Maybe we need a lottery or draft set up so we all don't hit the same Wal-Marts on August 14. We don't need to do battle in the store... we should keep it on the table top. My problem the two closest Wal-Marts are both about 35 miles away in oppostie directions

Hopefully, I'll actually have some discretionary income at that point. I know I could use some more RTTFF's and I like the idea of Orm's Return for customs. I've been thinking Charos and Su Bak Na (his dragon anyway) heads for a multiple head dragon. Maybe I need to start digging through the couch for change, and looking through the house for items to ebay.
