WHAT?
Isn't that a wee bit LOW?

Anyone paint other figures to create Nerak or EOV instead of tracking them down?
Anyone superglue the wings on those infernal dragons?

What is the deal with ebay heroscape sellers? Not once in all my ebay-ing have I ever seen such nonsense. You can order heroscape stuff for MUCH cheaper on hasbro/housemouse/etc sites. What is going on here?

I'd like to buy more trees, JUST trees, any way to do that without buying a whole new 20$ forgotten forest set?

How many of you like this idea: A whole new 40$ 'main set' like 'rise of the valkyrie'? It'll come with alot of land, which some of us would definatly like to have, and new unique sets and heros etc? Sound good?

With sets like Orms Return and Raknars Vision, plus the 'lawmen' in the last set, isn't heroscape getting a little 'hero heavy' ?

(this is probably in another topic, but I cant SEARCH so I'll put it here)
Some cards don't get used -much- because they are highly specialized. And some cards don't get used hardly ever because they are just... ya know.... inferior. I'm wondering how people modify their cards so that some of the figures collecting dust see some action. (I have a few myself, but I want to ask questions here before posting my own mods)

oh yea...
and how do you guys play those ridiculous point armies? Say above 600 or so?
With the exception of fielding the most expensive units, I find that having armies that size beome a bit cumbersome. Since you only get three order markers a 'turn', most of the army ends up standing around doing nothing.
Are there special rules for high point armies or something?

No one needs modding except MAYBE parmenio need to have his thingy be an aura or a little point decrease.

Check the customs forums, I'm sure there are some rule mods there for huge armies. Some use the X as another (4th) order marker, or use 2 sets of order markers and either go sequentially, or have there be an option of using one or the other of the same number (e.g. one #2 is on Drake, the other is on Airbourne Elite, player gets to choose which to activate.)

Well Roufus, you certainly have many points to question. But the one I see most obvious is the point army. I agree with you with the whole turnmarkers thing. I think that playing with a high point army can really disrupt your game play. Maybe 5 turnmarkers and an "X"

All those other points are good points and I leave the rest for other heroscpers to debate.

And there are no special rules of high point armys that I know of but I'm probably wrong.

1 life, 1x attack, makes for a somewhat fragile figure. If one fields a lot of them, though, it does give some versatility, being common one can select among them which would be the better play. Now if another figure could bond with a Dumutef...

There are also lots of ideas for modding the official characters, lots of suggestions for 'correcting' them. But I think those are scattered about - anyone know of a central location for 'official figure' mods?

(i knew I should have written all these things down before posting)
are the tangawa REALLY worth twice the weight of the izuma? one more attack and that bloodlust thing doesn't look to be 60pts worthy to me, but I haven't playtested them extensivly yet...

Assuming you can get their attack boosted without too much trouble, yeah they can be 2+x better than the Izumi - same defensive counterpunch with a much (and sometimes much, much, much :) ) hardier offensive ability.

I don't get the ebay prices either. You can get TT for $25 with shipping off the Hasbro site and people on Ebay pay $30 and up with $10+ shipping. Makes me think I should stock up on TT and sell them on Ebay.

I think Dumutef is great for when you only have a few points left to spend.

Never painted my figures because I know I would mess it up with my lack of artistic ability.

I wouldn't superglue my dragons' wings because I sometimes need to take them off so they fit in my figure box.

You are definetly right about the eBay thing but it would be pretty good if you were the seller eh?

I think buying only trees would be cool but sometimes extra road and the 5 space long road in each pack are great for building long and sturdy bridges.

Dunno about your master set idea.

You are right about HS getting hero heavy but have you looked at the pictures of the upcoming Thora's Vengeance? Looks pretty heroless to me.

And you should check out Truth's card reworks for alternate's on a few cards.
