I'm not sure if Walmart is going to carry blister packs after the summer reset. I did not see a place for them in my Walmart. Found some Wave 6 in the clearance section for $7.00. Not a great deal, but beats $10.00 anyday. Hope this helps someone out.

This could be bad or good in my case. My Walmart is clogged with wave five. If they decide to not carry them then they should all go to clearance or something. Then hopefully they will realize that they made a mistake and order new packs, which will hopefully be waves 3, 7, and 8 in managable quantities.

Man, the Wal-Marts around here don't carry squat when it comes to Heroscape.

You'll be lucky if you find an old Master Set...

I think it depends on the store. The one I live next to just restocked on wave 6 for the first time!. Another just cleared all their boosters, but is doing a MASSIVE reorganization and rearranging of the toy dpt., so I feel they will have them again. Other stores have not even bothered to place the old stock on clearance. One store has a ton of wave 5 on a high shelf, but still managed to sell 2 sets of wave one and some of wave 2 over the past few months and at different times. That chain is whacky!

If they replace Orm's Return and Gladiators & Agents with 3-7-8-Marvel-SOTM I'm going to die laughing. Just imagine the Wal-Mart guys sitting around in a meeting, looking bored...

*dry voice* "And now we come to item 418293 on your outlines, change in sales performance of selected Hasbro toy lines, part N." *yawn* "The Heroscape line, whatever that is, has been clogging our board game shelves for about 18 months now, and we're looking into dropping it to make room for Nanny Diaries-opoly and Rush Hour 3 Risk. Just this past quarter, it continued to" *spews coffee* "ONE THOUSAND PERCENT INCREASE?!? DEAR GOD, MAN!"

The Regular (Non-Super) Wally-World in my area is in the process of doing a complete store refurbishment. New Everything, paint job, floor tiles, etc...
It's also in the process of completely changing around all of it's dept's.
In other words, it's a Complete MESS at the moment.
As I have wandered in & out of the store over the last couple of weeks, I noticed that there is still about 5 packs of Collection 5 sitting on one of the shelves & there WERE 6 sets of the new Marvel MS, I grabbed one for myself last Monday.
When I went back yesterday (Saturday) to get another one, they were all gone. (the 5 Collection 5 packs were still there though.) I'm guessing I'm not going to see anything new for a few more weeks at least (my friend who works in the garden dept said that it's going to be at least 3 more weeks before the 'refurbishment' is completed.)
I also checked out the local Target and found 2 Marvel MS (but $6 bucks more in price than Walmart, didn't bother to get any); 5 Collection-6 packs; 2 Orms Return and 1 Tundra.
The local TRU has plenty of RotV MS's (but they too are way over priced now); 5 Lava sets; 6 each of Jandar & Ullar's Flag bearer's (of course the only one I need is Einar's!); several Castle sets and a couple of the Hero's of Lindesfarme sets. There were no figure expansion packs at all, nor any MARVEL MS's.
I'm going to drive over to another Target in a nearby City to see what they have today (Sunday). Anyway, looks like it's going to be a while before anything new in larger quantities shows up here in the Capital Region of New York.

HA! I can beat that! A few months ago one of my Wal-Marts had about 3 sets of wave 5, for $1 and some for 38¢! I bought all the ones that were not too messed up!

jsilvrs, what part of Ga are you in? most of the wally worlds in my area are still carrying the expansions on their fall setup

I need to run to wherever you are and grab the stuff i don't have for $7

I think the smaller stores are going to only be carrying the larger boxes from now on while the bigger ones will be carrying everything.

Depends on how many feet of shelf space are dedicated to board games, they more that store has, the more likely they are to have HS Boosters.

I live near Calhoun. I cleaned out that store. The one in Cartersville is working on their reset and have about 4 sets of wave 5. Still waiting for them to mark down their stock. I'll let you know if I see anymore.

The Wal-Mart near us just completely reorganized the toy section and got Marvel in, I'm hoping to see some more new sets there soon...
