Well, the problem with being from the fucture is that slowly every day I create miniture paradoxes for my fucture self, like, take yesterday for example, I was pouring milk. No big deal righht? WRONG! See, its like the butterfly effect and I remebed something that never happened to me in the fucture, I got milk on a tusday! I hardly ever get it on tuseday! So, yeah, then ya know what, the next week rolls along, and guess what, I'm out of milk and have to get milk on a tuesday, so I go back in time to prevent myself for pouring milk yesterday and then rember that I never did that so I stop myself in mid week and get thirsty and drink the rest of the milk thats still around, then reilise that the falt was not my fucture self, but my fucture, fuctrue self. Well, anyway, I've got my milk again.

u guys seen the movie signs with mel gibson? i could actually see aliens doing that in real life. they'd be observing us for a long time, and we'd catch a sight of them here and there and that's why we have some caught on video. something in me beleives there was once an area 51 where the ufo crashed. heck maybe like in the movie independence day with will smith, we have them contained somewhere for study along with their ship.

now if i ever came in contact with either a real alien or a ghost, be sure that i'd be runing away and screaming like a little girl :excited:

Here is a true story (believe me or not, but it really happened). It deals with my mom, one of her co-workers, and a client. It is sort of lenghty, and comes second hand, so bear with me. As a side note, my mom isn't one to believe in stuff like this, well, at least she used to not.

So my mom had this house listed (she's a real estate agent) and she found a buyer for it. The buyers kept saying it felt really cold in the bedroom, but they just figured it was a draft. So they took pictures of the house, not looking for anything wierd, just so that they could begin aranging furniture (this isn't uncommon for people to do). Well, they get the pictures back, and in several of the pictures, there are white shadows in the corners of some of the pictures, namely ones in the bedroom, that resemble a woman in a wedding dress.

So they get kindof spooked, and they ask my mom if anything wierd has happened in the house. My mom doesn't know of anything, and so the potential buyers explain the pictures and the draft. My mom, not believing in ghosts and what not, kindof plays it off, but asks the seller if anything had happened at the house. The buyer explained that his wife had breast cancer, and passed away in their bedroom several years ago. So this kindof creeps my mother out, and she doesn't tell the buyers about it, or anyone else for that matter.

The next morning, one of my mom's buyer agents, Christine, calls her and asks if she knows anyone named Dianne. My mom says no, she didn't. Then Christine goes on to say that she had a dream where a woman in a wedding dress came to her and wanted to know who the people were in her house and that she didn't mind them being there. She said her name was Dianne in Christine's dream.

So my mom is really freaked out at this point, and calls the seller back to find out his wife's name. It was Dianne.

The really wierd part about this is that the buyers, the seller, my mother, and Christine never spoke with one another outside of the calls and conversations that I talked about.

I don't know if my mother ever told the buyers about Dianne, but they bought the house. This happened about a year ago. It was pretty wierd.

My aunt and uncle used to live in what they thought was a haunted house, once or twice about pictures and sometimes their piano (which was always closed) would open up in the night and play itself.

My take on UFOs:

The military has all kinds of crazy tech that is very top secret that they teest fly and what not. They have a standard system of response when stuff is seen. They wait to make any kind of comment so that the UFO crowd can start talking and then they make a response to keep them talking. If there is a large enough voice of people thinking there are aliens in freezers in Nevada and New Mexico, the baddies won't get on the trail of what they are really doing. Area 51 is just a top secret testing facility that they can play with the best toys. Take the "Phoenix Lights" for example. They get in their massive air wing and joyride down through Arizona and back. They hit enough places to get people thinking the aliens are here and go back to base. The military responses don't make sense, but the hardcore UFO crowd makes less sense.

Yes. The universe is to big a place for this to be all that there is.

Do I believe that there are other life forms visiting our planet?

No. The time and distance restraints are simply to large. Even at the speed of light it would take hundreds or thousands of years. Given that actual speed of light is not possible, it would take even longer.

Also, look up in the sky and tell me which planet these aliens come from? The choices are almost infinite. It seems kind of odd to put together all those resources and waste all those years to head towards a planet that may or may not have life, a suitable climate, etc. If they are that advanced surely they have mastered terraforming and could transform worlds closer to them (Mars like) into inhabitable ones. It would be easier and quicker. Don't forget, if it took them 1,000 years to get here and steal all our resources it will take them 1,000 years to get them back home.

i'll second that opinion. from what we can observe, the brain turns off and the body starts to decay like any other carbon based lifeform in this ecosystem. people just want to feel special. aw, ain't that sweet.

we might be the most intelligent animals on the planet but we are still animals -- animals with over active imaginations and good at telling stories (among other things). don't get me wrong, i'd rather be homo sapien than anthing else of course...

Well iv had "expeirences". nothin huge but enough to send me runnin. most while preformin "sommonin rituals".

Once while i has out at night playin basketball with two of my friends i saw two white lights in the sky. they looked like headlights of a car. well i dismised it as a plane at first but i noticed it was moving way to slow to b a plane. well i ignored it again but it got closer. i then saw a small red blinkin light in between the white lights. then it started to hover right above my house! it was above a street light. i put my hand over the street light and saw an excellent look at it. it was a diamond shaped ufo with windows (i asume but might just be lights) all over the edges. by that time we were all watchin and i told my friends to put there hands over the light. then we all screemed n ran inside. we went back out n it was on the other side of my place. it looked like two red lights like the back of a car. heres i pic i made in paint:

If I use your logic, Then I must assume that the "Heaven's Gate" people must be onboard the mother ship with evolutionary more advanced than Human beings. I can't prove they aren't after all.

Here are my two options:

1. Aliens really are out there and took the souls of the HG with them into the great unkown universe.

I think believing in UFOs comes down to what you think about creation. If the big bang theory is true, then chance are that there is life on other planets. If you take the Christian intellectual design theory, which says that God created life on Earth, you have to ask yourself if that means everywhere or just Earth. I'm not so knowledgeable on the other creation theories.

I think that believing in the possibility of life on other planets and the possibility of the Earth being visited by UFO's are very different.

I will accept that there is life elsewhere in the vastness of space just not that this life's idea of a vacation is a few weeks worth of anal probs and corn fields.
