It was a thread mill and spam. That is why I posted :spam: or SUPER :spam:. You can't just make random threads and expect respect. Sorry if it offends you, but this thread will probably be locked before anything else can be said. If you really wanted to ask, you should have pmed :gb:.

A thread mill is a derogatory term for a forum user who makes new threads for every thing you can imagine rather than using the search function. I know search is down here, but it also extends to folks who make loads of spam threads.

Wow. That's nothing like I thought. I thought a thread mill was a thread whose only purpose is to generate meaningless and unnecessary replies ad nauseum.

Wow. That's nothing like I thought. I thought a thread mill was a thread whose only purpose is to generate meaningless and unnecessary replies ad nauseum.You are correct sir. A thread mill is an off topic post that's sole purpose is to generate posts that are nonsense. Many folks use them to drive up their own post count. In our forums, most of us read new threads by using the "since last visit" link. If there are a lot of thread mills, then the more important topics get pushed off of the front page and often times get missed. BTW the thread in question was not deleted, it was locked. If anybody is interested in its contents then it is there for the reading, but I warn you, it is lame.

Here's a link to the stupid thread in question. We do not make a practice of deleting even when it is totally warranted ;

If a thread mill is something that generates meaningless and unnecessary replies then the thread with wave 7 pics should have been deleted within 2 or 3 days of it stating :lol: .

http://heroscapers.com/community/viewtopic.php? Well then why wasn't question and answer deleted?We are an evolving community. If I had developed this stance early on, the Q&A thread would have been locked as well. Do realize though, that we are relaxed enough to allow some foolishness from time-to-time. But the foolishness encountered here needs to be of a higher quality than other sites.
