View Full Version : Question About Thanos's power

Played a game yesterday ... the simple good guys vs bad guys scenario.
I was the good guys my friend was the bad. So maybe my questioning of the rules came from a sense of self preservation.

Does Thanos get to try to come back on every marker flip or only on flips where a character can take a turn. For example my friend had all his markers on Thanos and I killed him when he still had his second and third markers on him unflipped. (the Hulk .. fully enraged, rolled 10 skulls.)

We played that he got to roll for his(Thanos) power on his last two turn markers even though he could not take a turn with Thanos.

What is the official ruling on this?

In the end I won .. with only spider-man and his a single health left. So anyone who has issues with the sides being balanced I offer this game as one example they are very close to balanced as I have never had a battle that close.

According to the rules, those turns would be lost, and he wouldn't get to roll.

If you are referring to the Rejected by Death SA, then the card reads like this:

At the start of each of your turns after Thanos has been destroyed, roll the D20. If you roll a 19 or higher, immediately place Thanos......Blah, Blah.

So as long as you have figures left in your army you can roll for Thanos' SA. If Thanos is your last or only fig you get nothing, you lose, good day sir.

Hope that answered your question.

I'm moving this to the FAQ section (where it belongs).
