Wave 3 spotted at stores!

I called up Gamers Paradise here in the Chicago-Land area and they had "Plenty" of wave 3. So I stopped by the Woodfield store on my way home. They said the other stores should get them soon. They have a buy one get one 50% off sale. I bought 8 packs for < $85 including taxes!

I feel kind of guilty because there are still wave 7 figures I have not played with yet. Its all happening too fast.

You are sooo lucky. All of my local stores just got wave 6 about 2 weeks ago. Grrrr.. I hate paying shipping. :P

That is good news. Wish I never left the Chicago area, because Gamers Paradise seems like a cool store to have around. Wood field mall is an old stomping ground, we'd leave there, then go to Game works.

Woodfield is still an amazing mall after all these years. My family moved into the area in 1971 which is the same year it first opened. GameWorks at Streets of Woodfield is only about 6 years old.

Good to hear GP got wave 3 again. Buy 1, get 1 half price. Hmm, sounds tempting but I have my quota of wave 3. :)

Nope, wave 3 is Jandar's Oath. Wave 2 is Utgar's Rage.

The Gamer's Paradise sale (buy one, get one half off) extends to ALL Heroscape product (it's actually a sale on ALL boardgames). Mind you, this works at the Woodfield store, but the Northside Chicago store (at the Century Mall at Clark and Diversey) doesn't seem to consider 'Scape a boardgame, so there is no discount there.

Utgar's rage is my favorite wave as well. Jandar's Oath... not so much. I'd still like a chance to get some hounds in anticipation of SotM though.

Utgar's rage is my favorite wave as well. Jandar's Oath... not so much. I'd still like a chance to get some hounds in anticipation of SotM though.I just opened all the packs this morning. Micro corp agents and the McDirk seem pretty cool. Also the sentinals are interesting. And of course Jonny Sullivan is a good 65 points.

Woodfield mall is a vey nice mall. Schaumburg has done a good job at stopping what often happens to those big malls. The whole area has become a flourishing hot spot for retail.

2005 exclusive was a repainted Swog Rider called Nerak.
2006 exclusive was a repainted Knight of Weston called Sir Hawthorne.
Swog Riders and Knights of Weston come in the same booster pack from Utgar's Rage.
So I'm just making a prediction based on an unproven pattern ;)

I am not sure what they used to look like but this is how mine look:

I think they look ok except the weird blotches on the monks heads. Maybe the monasteries have no showers?
