I bid on a Woo (after much contemplation) on e-bay from Uniqueheroscaper. He has several Woo up for bid and asks that no one bid on an item that already had a bid.

So I e-mailed him after I bid asking if he could close the auction early since I wanted to just pay for it and go on my way. I get a quick response stating that if I pay him then he will send me the Woo. SO I pay him via Pay pal. (NOTE: I asked to be removed from the WOO drawing at this point because I no longer needed it, I thought)

Not only did the auction not get closed, it was also bid on again by someone else now making my bid no good... Keep in mind that I already paid for it. Now I'm concerned.

In my original note which was attached when I paid, I asked that the shipping address be confirmed before shipping. No answer, no nothing from the seller. I then e-mail him to ask what’s up, and he tells me that I need to pay for the Woo before he will ship it. WHAT??? Ok, I resolve that several e-mails later. Then I find out that my ship to address in pay pal is my OLD address. NOW WHAT? Keep in mind that I specified that he confirm the address before shipping.

He gives me a tracking number, the website to track it states that the number doesn't exist, more emails... He states he will look into it, now I haven't heard from him since. This has been over 3 WEEKS!! I got in touch with the people who live at my old address (relatives) and they have not received it...

OK. I'm done ranting now... Any suggestions on what I should do next? Am I upset for no reason? I am not a frequent shopper on e-bay (actually I never buy off e-bay) so I don't know the protocol with this. Am I being overly inpatient? I would love to hear the community’s thoughts.

Don't be argumentative, but assert your need for help from the person who sold you the product. If you get no response within a reasonable time frame, say, two days, write again asking about status on the things you wrote.

I can see that after the fact that my frustration really shows in my posts here. As a sales rep, I should know better. His description in the auction said 'do not bid' on an auction that already has a bid so I didn't bother putting my max bid higher than his description. Turns out someone comes along and outbids me by .50. I don't know why he didn't just list them as buy it now. I've tried emailing him/her concerning this and haven't gotten a response and they are no longer listing any. I guess a Woo is not happening.

My package arrived at his address with no problems, but his package did not show up at my place. After waiting for 2-3 weeks, he sent me his Nerak that he is using. This time, he requested delivery and tracking number. And after 5 days, I have Nerak.
He is a good trader and I would trade with him again. I really hope that the first Nerak will be returned to his address.

Well just to update - He did finally get me my Woo, but I had to go through much pain and aggrivation to get it, and it took about a month. After countless e-mails about the shipping address, would you believe he sent it a second time to the wrong address again?!?!?! jeeez. Sorry to hear you didn't get your Woo.

7 Hex tile exchange....


I have an extra 30 asst (rock,grass,sand) 7 hex tiles that id like to trade off for a far exchange of 1,2,3 hex tiles. The customs I make eat up the small hexes and rather then buy another lot of master sets I thought Id give this a try.


My thoughts are to pack up the tiles and mail them to you, in return you reuse the box I send and send back what ever assortment of 1,2,3 hex tiles to me. I will include a return shipping label in the box.

If you are a site supporter I will pay shipping both ways.


So in a nut shell

All right, my wife bless her heart made a bit of a mistake. Nothing major mind you but just a small one. She is getting me some more Wave 7 for Christmas which is great. The only problem was she saw some extra heroes and decided I may like those as well. I explained to her how the uniques system worked and then she said, well could you trade them for other stuff....I told her I would see.

So anyways what I will have is an extra sets of the two uniques from Wave 7. If someone would like to trade two wave three boosters for them I would gladly trade. What I need from wave 3 is as follows.

1 Hounds and Gorilinators

2 Kilts and Commando's

2 Monks and guards


If anyone has any of these they would like to trade let me know. They do not have to be in box but I would want them in good shape. I would also be willing to trade an extra Woo for like three sets.

Wow. Just got my first HeroScape set this Christmas and posting for the first time. I am hooked on the game, can't wait to devour everything I can find on heroscapers.com, blown away by VirtualScape, and immediately ran out after Christmas to see what other sets I could find on retail shelves. I have all three master sets (if you can call Marvel a master set), Fortress of the Archkyrie, and a couple of figure packs (Kyrie & Archers, and the Heroes of ______ from the same wave, IIRC) that I haven't opened yet.

Would love to find RttFF, Volcarren, Tundra, etc., but so far no luck. Is anyone interested in trading those sets for extra Marvel and/or Fortress sets?

Welcome to the site! The only places to buy arouond here are Walmart, target and ToysRus. TrU is the most expensive but usualy has allot more. Just look around the shps in your area. Allot of the fun of it is finding that set you've wanted for a long time. :) Also, Fotress sets are really cool for building with. Probably the most useful expansion in my opinion.

Hey guys, been working on a custom and wanted to see if any one was interested in trading a custom Dino for some romans.

I have not finished it yet. Have not repainted and glued any one to the saddle as I would rather see if any one is interested in trading and what figure they would want riding it.


Also, I have carved out but not glued on yet a full set of scale armor, similar to the one I used on my onyx warlord ( see my customs). It would run from head to tail overlapping plates, and I can do this in any color ( metallics look best) that you would want.

Here is a pic of the dino so far, remember its not finished. He still does not have a wash on any thing and some more detail work needs to be done.

So did Aldin. RtFF is very sought after and hard to find in most places. The castle has an MSRP of $35.

The rats come in a reasonably easy to find pack (at TRU at least) that has an msrp of $12.99

EDIT: To use eBay to gauge RELATIVE worth, RttFF sells for about $30+, the castle set for low $20s to $35, and the deathreavers for about $4 a squad.

When dealing here on the boards, traders are more generous, but you can get a feel for relative value of things on eBay. I agree with Aldin, 4 squads would probably be a fair trade here for a RttFF or the FotA, but on eBay you would have to sell 6 squads or more to buy the set you wanted. not that anyone has to agree to those terms; value is in the eye of the beholder.

Further EDIT: wow! Aldin and I both misread it. bmartininson is not referring to the post above him. LOL, I feel like such a n00b myself now.

Unfortunately a sale at Gamestop not too long ago flooded the world with Starcraft Battle Chests for $9.99. It's $16 at Amazon now.

RoTV sets are $25 at many walmarts, $20 or $10 at many Kmarts. I sold my extras for $10 on eBay rather quickly.

Okay I've whipped up a big list of mostly rares with some choice uncommons and commons that I felt would make good Heroscape mods (some monks, ninjas, undead, elves, etc) If you want other uncommons or commons that you know about I usually have a ton. The value of many of these goes up from the older sets, much like the harder to find older or more popular HS waves. Typical secondary market availability inflation. My list uses Bifur which has the average value input frequently though usually things would Ebay for 10% to 50% less. The Mage Knight list is an average Ebaying price listed. I already have a RotV set, SotM set, Warriors & Soulborgs pack and two Marvel sets. Anyhow I am pretty much looking for anything that I can get my hands on. Obviously I'd love some of those hard to find things, I've seen things like Heroes of Bleakwoode go for a pretty penny on Ebay while others not so much.

Hey, everyone.

My first time posting in this thread. Not sure whether this'll excite much interest. :D

I'm pretty new still to Heroscape and am in need of quite a few things ("need" being a relative term, of course). I have enough RotV, SotM, and Marvel (at least for the moment), as well as single copies of Wave 6, Wave 5, Kilts, Templars, TT, and FotA.

I'm interested in acquiring, in roughly this order, RttFF, Wave 1, Wave 2, Wave 7, Wave 4, Wave 3, VW, and FotA.

As you might imagine, I don't have a huge amount for trade. I do have a sealed SotM. I also have two RotV sets of sparkly water and red/blue dice that I'd be willing to factor in as long as I received an equal amount of "plain" water in return. I also have cash.

I don't have much of a reputation, good or bad, on this board, but I do have a limited but good trading history on Board Game Geek (http://www.boardgamegeek.com/user/jpat). PM me here if interested.

I will have to ask my 60 other zombies if they need more company but I am gonna guess that they are ok.

I was afraid of that. I just saw them on clearance and thought they would make good trade fodder. I can toss in the vipers and marrow, but since they aren't exactly rare....
