One of my coworker's sons just bought into Heroscape with a small collection someone else had, but he only has the RotV terrain, most of the figures from RotV, and some other random figures. I'm hoping to help him out and boost his terrain and sight blockers with BftU.

Outside of the limited amount of dungeon and shadow tiles, I don't even really like the BftU set personally. There isn't any good characters in it really, drow are pretty cool but still! The days when scape didn't cost as much! I got Aquilla's Alliance when it was first released :D. Thankfully!

I remember a couple of years ago some crazy Christmas blowout on Amazon where I picked up 3 D&D sets for like $15-20 each. I thought I'd give them as gifts but ended up opening them all when I started running tourneys. I feel sorry for you guys trying to get them now. :(

1.) I don't have a D & D Master Set :(

There really isn't an on-board facility that measures a trader's trading statistics. You can gauge them on feed backs here or check out each trader's list of good/bad trades/traders. I'm afraid t's a manual process.

As for the trading community here, aside from a few bad incidents, most traders here are very decent people. A good number of generous people also exists here. I personally have traded with a decent number of people from different continents and didn't have any problems so far.

Over the summer I purchased more figures and terrain for our club members to use. I was thrilled when I opened one purchase and discovered four of the flagbearers (missing Sir Gilbert). Each flagbearer has all 12 Valkyrie dice, the d20, dicebag and card along with the figure. While I know that the students would like using these fiugures, I think the club could make better use of more common squads.

I am putting these four flagbearers up for trade. I would like to trade them for multiples of either common squads, wyrmlings or elementals. I can be talked into other trades, but that is what I'm most hoping to get for them. Anyone interested in trading should PM me.

Any figures acquired in the trades would go to the club collection, not into my private collection. Since I bought them for club use, it is only right that any figures obtained through trades for the flagbearers be used for the club.

no, but actually AA isn't even that good...

Don't know about you but I like to use Zelrig and Gurei Oni. And Sujoah has rocked many a hero for me. We had an epic battle with two Sujoah fighting each other.

My luck has been that I couldn't find any AA for about two years. So I finally broke down and bought a Gurei Oni. Within a week I had another Gurei Oni fall in my lap for almost nothing then a Sujoah. A week later I got the whole set for $20!! So my advice to you, go buy one figure on eBay and expect the rest to follow.

I would agree; Zetacron could easily be double his points; I have assasinated many a hero with a roll of 3-4 skulls (with height, glyphs, Repulsor assistance, etc.), and 8 range is tough to beat. Zeilrig eats many army builds alive, and has definitely changed the metagame just based on his existence. Sujoah isn't bad (though I have stopped using her [is Sujoah a her?] ever since the Wyvern was released) and is my favorite sculpt.

But really, it doesn't matter if they are good or not; they are Heroscape figures so you NEED them. ;)

what I meant was I'm not completely devastated that I can't get ahold of them.

Also, perfect trade with boromir96. There must have been at least 3 times where I offered him a trade, but apparently it was giving him more of an advantage, so he offered to give me more figures. The cards are in perfect condition, and he even packaged 1 extra shadow tile with mika. overall fantastic trader.

I hate to say it, but those top three are going to be nigh impossible to find for a reasonable price. The bottom two are getting tough to find as well. If you're just starting your collection, I'd recommend looking for a Rise of the Valkyrie set. It is the best bang for your buck and the least inflated of the master sets right now.

Does anyone have any single and double(regulars and jumbos) for Heroscape? I'm looking for custom bases, I suppose, and stickers which make them look fairly authentic.

I have a variety of actual scape bases (http://www.heroscapers.com/community/blog.php?b=534) in all the usual sizes with original decals, generally with restoration performed on the small blems that usually occur when figures are removed. I also have (or can make) custom Jungle Ruins (http://www.heroscapers.com/community/showthread.php?t=36506) and a Castle Keep conversion (http://www.heroscapers.com/community/showthread.php?t=41414).
